It fits!
This fit fine in my nooelec metal case, Had zero issues just plugging it in and puting it back in the case. My board wasnt even an offical board, and it still worked fine.

Great Addition
This TXCO improved the ability of my HackRF One. Well worth the expense. I also added the RF Amp shield kit and the metal case. I would suggest that if you have the original plastic case, this is a recommended upgrade.

Not for portapack users!
Although the item could very well do exactly what it say I am unable to use with a portapacks to verify. This information should be included in the description due to the fact alot of people have these devices nowadays. The location where it needs to be plugged in is already populated by the portapacks design. Unfortunately I did not have the portapack with me at the time of purchase to verify and will not be able to use unless I use my HackRF board without the portapack. 3 stars for the description needing updates.

NooElec Tiny TCXO
comes with no instructions other than the diagram on the circuit board. basically you install it on connector P22 matching the mark on the back of the circuit board to the marking on the HACK RF One circuit board. The only issue I have with this is: WHY did I have to purchase this for the Hack RF one? when other SDR radios that are one tenth the cost of the hack Rf one have a TCXO built in. otherwise it has worked as advertised with my PPM being basically 0 in Shortwave, and slowly progressing to about .5 PPM around 900mhz (I don't use my hackrf one much higher than that). for 99% of the things I do this is good enough. Now I no longer have to constantly readjust my PPM, and could never be certain of what frequency I was looking at, on the high end of the spectrum. The last issue is that it does not fit in the original case, and I have not been able to identify an available case that will allow it to fit. The ones on Amazon are very vague on the internal dimensions, and do not clearly state if the board will fit in them with this attached. So I just heated up my case and bulged it out over where the TCXO is connected it's ugly now, but it works.

IC internal clock board for Hackrf one
The Ic board fit right inside the aluminum case. Plugged it in and selected internal for clock sync in gnuradio. It improved the frequency accuracy by 80 ppi. I had to previously set the hackrf to +82 in the Osmocom block and after the installation of the clock ic board was able to drop it down to +2. Shipping was a day late but this was due to weather.

Does not worth with latest HackRF R9 Boards
Doesn't work with any genuine HackRF(R9) that is currently in production!!! Due to Covid shortages, the HackRF was redesigned and all boards made after January 2023 a have been the R9 variant. The clock input parameters on the HackRF have always been a 3.3V Square wave but the other (pre R9 variants) were much more tolerant and could take as low as a 1.5V Square wave as a clock signal. This TXCO and many others are not compliant with the 3.3V requirement and aren't recognized by the R9. I had hoped that since its now 9 months since the change was made, that nooelec has updated their design to fix that issue, but the two I received from Amazon are 2022 modules and aren't compatible and you would think there would at least be something about that in the description. If You have a new HackRF R9 board you need to look someplace else for a compatible TXCO. As of the time of this review the TXCO's I have received only work with the older (pre R9) HackRF boards.

Spot on
Pops right in to HackRF clone, works fine for transmitting M17 digital voice mode.

Read the note, doesn't fit in standard case
Awesome addition to my HackRF but I had to make modifications to the design so it would fit inside the standard case. I probably should of read the note first.

Good but doesn't work with my portapack module

Great product, reasonable price. I bought this to use in a non-HackRF project but couldn't find any pinout info so for anyone interested Looking at the HackRF One schematics and Gerber plots, supply voltage is 3.3V Pin 6 is VCC (+3.3V) pin11 is GND and pin 7 is CLKOUT - 1.8V Output I wanted a PMOD compatible 10MHz TCXO, and this is the closes I could find. Managed to get it working with a Zybo-Z7 FPGA board by using a differential buffer and setting the the input I/O standard to TDMS_33 Looking from the top (pins down) 6 5 4 3 2 1 --VCC--NC----NC--NC--NC--NC --NC---GND--NC--NC--NC--CLKOUT 12 11 10 9 8 7

Das Teil war zwar schlecht verpackt, aber nachdem die zwei schiefen Pins geradegebogen waren, ließ sich das Teil in die Buchse "P22" stecken. Eingeschaltet und der HackRF ist nun auf der richtigen Frequenz! Plug and Play! Der TCXO ist niedrig gebaut und ist kompatibel mit dem Gehäuse von Nooelec.
