Very nice, but a bit fiddly. Instructions included.
Once you get the hang of the construction, it's easily put together (see below for help, cos the instructions ain't doing that!) and very sturdy. This is the method of construction I found easiest. Use the four little linking (F) pieces to make four long sides, then build a 'ladder' between two sides at a time, making sure the short shelf support pieces match in placement so that the shelves will sit straight. Use a rubber or wooden mallet to tap pieces into place in a downward direction. The little tabs are vulnerable to bending so be sure they are properly seated on the inside of the structure before tapping home. Easily taken out again (by tapping upwards) and the tabs can be gently bent to ensure they seat properly. If you don't have a mallet, use a hammer and a bit of wood to avoid damaging the metal. I used a log! Start to connect using the longer 'shelf-front sides' - again ensuring that these pieces match the side pieces. Struts (E) need the tabs bent to be installed. Slide a tab into the slot in the longer shelf supports and bend the tab, then take out, turn around, insert second tab and swing the strut around to slide the previously-bent tab home in the opposite shelf support. Before putting on the plastic 'feet' make sure that the piece is all square by standing it on a flat surface and tapping all four posts. Any pieces that come loose can be tapped home again without dismantling anything. Install in place making sure the shelving is the right way up, otherwise shelves will fall out. Put boards in place.

Easy to assemble with a bit of patience
Bought to organize my tools, paint etc. I bought this one because the depth of shelves fitted in a small cupboard and still allowed me to get through the door. I have used it as 2 x shelf units with only 2 shelves on each - having 3 shelves would not have given enough height to store my storage tubs. Why only 4 stars - because it was fiddly to assemble, the horizontal shelf supports are quite deep and therefore reduce the height for sliding tubs of tools etc in and out (5.5cm including the wooden shelf). Also, I wouldn't put heavy items on it even though it says each shelf can hold over 100kg. The vertical struts twist easily on construct and I did not have a perfectly level and smooth surface for the shelf units to stand on. Also, no fixtures to fit to the wall if you decide to have it at full height. The vertical struts come in 2 lengths so for the full height you attach a bracket to join them and I did not think that looked sturdy enough especially with no wall fixings, or any idea how you could fix to a wall as would have to drill a hole in the metal struts to be able to attach to a wall. I couldn't find the instructions when I unpacked the box but it turned out they had static- clung to one of the shelves!! But I managed to suss out the construction quite easily. However, the instructions said used a screwdriver to wiggle the sticky-out bits on the vertical struts to slide in the shelf struts but I found it easier to adjust the tabs on each shelf support with pliers (probably bent them 1mm at most). The middle shelf supports you will need pliers to bend these tabs as they come flat and need to be at a 90° angle. Also, you might want to wear gloves as although I didn't cut myself (and I cut myself on everything!) the edges are sharpish. I used a normal claw hammer with a wood block to tap everything in place. The good bits - easy to assemble, narrow shelf depth for small spaces, excellent value for 2 shelf units, the shelf heights can be adjusted by about 3cm intervals, lightweight so easy to move around once built - although some of the shelf support tabs may pop out or need knocking back into place.

take your time and check each tab, bend bottom cross brace tab with pliers.
Great product for the price, once you get the hang of assembly they are very easy to erect, instructions not so good, bottom cross brace tabs need bending by hand, i used a pair of pliers to bend tabs inwards, easy to do and they knock straight in. Use gloves to assemble, first one took me 30 minutes, next 3 took me 15 minutes, sturdy once assembled but check all tabs are properly engaged or you will have to take each one back apart again.

Absolute nightmare to build
These shelves are probably the worse flat pack product i've ever built. The design is terrible and after building 5 it still took me 40 minutes to build each one. The user manual is a waste of time and is zero help. They felt like they were built out of recycled tin cans and are designed to cut you to pieces as you build them. I would rather build a full set of ikea bedroom furniture while simultaneously having a root canal then ever build any more of these things. Once they are assembled they look ok and are pretty sturdy, they were very cheap for a set of shelves.
