First of all I am not using a quick change tool post. Because I run a small shop we decided too use a conventional style tool post. Either way it works very well. See photo, the first job was a taper so I decided to use that as a product usage sample. Hope this review helps you decide on a purchase.

I took a lathe class where we had to grind all of our own tools and while that was great experience, for my own personal use I don't want to fuss with that and these carbide insert cutters are great. The inserts come in the standard little plastic compartmented enclosure with the proper tool to install them. Any chatter you see in this test cut is from my compound that needs to be tightened up, and not the tool.

The tool and the screw driver came in their own separate plastic holder that is typical of things like this, the screw driver worked very well for getting the little screw in and out. The inserts came in their own slide case and they fit perfectly into the tool.
