I bought a 32A/240V Level 2 charger for my EV, and after 2 months it stopped charging. I contacted SEGUMA by email, which you can get on their website, and Katia responded. She was very professional and always focused on my case until she could find a solution to the problem. I recommend them 100%, they are very reliable.

The media could not be loaded. I've been using it for two weeks with a 20 amp 220v outlet and it charges at a rate of 4.5 kw. It's a full kw faster than the 12 amp 220 charger I was using prior. The unit runs a touch hot, so I wouldn't have it out baking in the sun. During a typical 8 hour day at work I can add about 120 - 140 miles of range which is about 15-20 miles per hour of charge. If this thing can last I will be very happy.

I ran into a situation where I was on vacation and I didn't have a way to charge without driving a literal 30 minutes to the nearest charging station. I soon learned that the house where I was staying had a 240V hook up in the garage. I did some quick research and had this EV charger shipped to my location. It arrived on-time and I couldn't be more pleased.Here's why. The cord is lengthy, so it stretched out of the garage (which was full of garage stuff) and reached to my vehicle. One of the things I was concerned about was that none of the chargers that could be delivered via Prime allowed for an amperage step-down. The reason this matters is that the 240V outlet in the garage was rated for 30A. I needed to find a charger that would not exceed that amperage.I came across this charger and it works great! I was able to adjust the amperage down from 32A to 24A, which is great for 30A receptacle. One thing to consider is to be sure which connector you have. This garage had a NEMA 14-30R connection, where the bottom prong is shaped at a 90 degree angle to the left. This prong is compatible with NEMA 14-30P connections.Therefore, I bought a converter that allowed for a NEMA 14-30R wall connection and it allowed for the NEMA14-50 connection that comes with this Level 2 charger. All that say: just be aware of the receptacle you have. If it's not compatible, just purchase a converter and you should be good to. Just be aware of the amperage on the charger!

I’ve had this for 6 months. It Overheated and caught fire! Do not buy this product!

Charger is working great. Charging 5x to 6z faster than 120v.My only issues were with the hardware (screws) broke and stripped when trying to screw into wall studs. Had to use tradition deck screws.

This unit affordably got me charging my EV while I waited for my electrician to work me into his busy schedule. Also it allows me to use an RV pedestal/service box with plugs for my EV, my RV, and a 120V convenience outlet.A 5' length of 2-2-2-4 cable, a 50A circuit breaker, and a 240V outlet from the orange store got my EV going. DO NOT TRY THIS WITHOUT DETAILED ELECTRICITY UNDERSTANDING AND THE NECESSARY TOOLS - - 240V CAN KILL YOU!However, your electrician can get you set up quickly this way until they can do the permanent installation up-to-code.The real-time information on the display is useful (it showed me that there is more variation in the service voltage than I expected) and you can adjust the current/rate of charge by simply pressing the single button to adjust from 10A to 32A.I'm thoroughly impressed by this charger and very satisfied with it. The information displayed (W, A, V, time) are enough to know what's going on.
