It's ok but a little noisy do in a noisy background

Are you familiar with those spring loaded self-retracting key holders? You know the type, usually a unit that you clip onto your belt and you hook your keys on, then you draw it out to undo your lock, and when you let go of the key it automatically rewinds? Well, this is essentially a miniature one of those that snatches your coin away. There is a little magnet on the end, which surprisingly does actually attach quite well to small coins. (I say surprisingly because I didn’t think coins were drawn to magnets?) I have tested it on the UK one pence, two pence, five pence and ten pence which all work. Twenty pence and upwards don’t seem to attract the magnet. As there are no instructions with it, the set up is this: clip the main unit out of sight (under a jacket) and discreetly draw the fishing line type wire out so the little magnet is casually held between a couple of fingers. (if you are doing this in your left hand, you can use your left arm to mask the wire) Ask a volunteer for a coin (specify a small UK coin in case they give you a 50 pence piece - or just use your own) and place it in the palm of your hand on top of the magnet. Then by simply waving your free hand around over the top of the coin, at that moment open your fingers and the coin should be snatched back and disappear like magic. It’s easy to use, seems a quality little item, and I have to be honest, if you time it right it does produce a very impressive visual effect. The biggest negative here - and it’s a gift one - is the noise. The device makes a noise as it snatches the coin away and the line retracts. Watch my video and make sure you have the volume turned right up . See what I mean? Ridiculous! Perhaps in a noisy environment you would get away with it but for general use it will restrict where and when you can use this trick. Despite the limitations of this, I like it. I use it to entertain my grandchildren, who admittedly are only very young and are still impressed when I’ve “got their nose” but good luck trying to execute this trick on an adult in a quiet environment!
