Phenomenal! May be a bit thick for some.
Glides over the strings beautifully. Good pointy tip. Great material for speed-picking. Price is not too bad. These are a bit more than just your bag of 500 fender mediums made in severe massive bulk. Not my regular go-to, but pretty decent picks. Not much grip.. boo.

This is the best guitar pick
Let's get the bad first, if you are buying this for the logo & signature, for get it, it will rub off very quickly. But what is left behind is a pick that is actually helping me reach speed, and riffs & licks never thought possible. The Size is ideal, It feels secure in my hand. It's going last a long time. It's very articulate and versatile A++

I'm sold..good for injury
I tried these on a whim and it's probably the best thing I did as far as plectrum....for a different reason than one might think....a little background.. about 2 years ago I injured my wrist..had to stop playing for about 3 weeks..and even after recovery , my picking hand was never the same...it would cramp up..sometimes during a gig, which was horrifying... I had sharp pains when I angled my pick a certain way..and virtually had to relearn picking..my speed took a hit as did my stamina..it was depressing... I was using a standard heavy flatpick (D'Addario Classic celluloid Heavy)....what I self discovered was that the thinner pick was causing stress to the wrist and fingers simply from the act of holding the pick..especially on faster runs...since you have to flex your wrist/fingers against the bend of the pick as you are striking the string..this is a subtle thing and guitarists get used to it and don't even notice it..until injury and rehab that is... the 2.0mm JP pick allows my wrist to relax..since the thickness requires that the bigger muscles of the forearm engage more so to hold the pick, and support the finer muscles of the hand....as a result my picking hand is more relaxed and I have gained back some of the lost speed..when I am done playin with these, my hand is relaxed..no cramping at all...what a miracle these have been, at for someone in my situation. one thing I did do is dull the point a little...scraped the tip against the carpet a few times. I found the initial point of the tip to produce notes that were too brittle ..even a little harsh sounding..which some people want or like..but using this technique it now gives a warm even tone when you strike the strings after only a couple of days..these have become my go to...going to also try the Andy James picks, as they are a little bigger..and hopefully will provide even less stress to the muscles/joints

These are fantastic picks. In between jazz 3 and standard size. For me they made a difference in my tremolo picking. Had been using gravity picks and although I still like them, I play faster with these

Best picks I’ve ever had (and I’m picky with my picks)
I have used the John Petrucci black jazz picks for a few years before and fell in love from day one, but when I stumbled across these, I have found be best picks ever made! I’ve been a professional guitarist, and guitar coach for 10 years now and find myself being stingy with these picks lol. When I was taking one on one lessons with my university guitar instructor, I gave him one to see what he said and he said the same thing. Best picks ever! You won’t regret. Perfect thickness Perfect texture Perfect size Perfect tone Easy to see when dropped too

WOW! Nothing like I've ever played before!
Let me say that over the years (especially lately) I have tried so many different picks looking for; a) good tone, b) allowed good speed/control, and had some better than typical grip. Of all the many, many I have tried (have a drawer of them),I experience the biggest instant improvement in my playing with these! I'm shocked. I like a Heavy pick (1.0-1.2) and never played something this heavy, but so glad I did. Instantly I was able to better control my speed picking (I'm not trying to play like Yngwie, just more precise at decent speeds). This instantly helped! -The slightly sharper point than I'm used to allowed me to better pick, especially at higher speeds. -Great tone (surprising for a nylon(?), heavy pick) - Glides across the strings very easily, because of the rounded edge. I'm sold on these! I do plan to try their Flow picks with the more "grip" feel (sweaty hands here), but so far no troubles with these. My new go-to picks!

Good pick, I like them. Not sure if it will be my go to, but definitey in the rotation
Its a good and solid pick. Actually its really thick. I really like the feel and shape of it to be honest. I get a good pick attack as well. Only downside, its a bit pricey. Not sure if I'd buy again.

Best guitar picks
I have been a fan of jazz 3 for a while now. I recently decided to try out a few new picks and started with the jazz 3 variants (petrucci ones, the red extra grip ones, black extra grip ones, kirk hammett models) and decided I liked the black extra grip ones the best, they seemed to wear down less than the red ones. I did like the size of the john petrucci variant, however grip was a problem and the picks always slid out of my hand. One day, this was recommended to me on amazon and I decided if nothing else, I'll buy it just to have a cool dream theater pick to throw out on stage while playing my EBMM majesty. I really enjoy this pick. It does not wear down as fast as jazz 3 picks do. Playing is fast and crisp. My tone actually sounds cleaner when using piezo with this pick indicating a better attack time. Would recommend to anybody trying to play fast licks.
