Wow, what an awesome product!!! 2025
I'm very happy with my purchase and I received my kit very well packaged and I'm happy to see that the batteries comes with a very good English installation instructions brosure and all the tools you need to start replacing the old MacBook battery. I want to highly recommend this brand to everyone, specially for those people like myself who doesn't have any computer repair experience! Thank you so much! Ps: now I have installed and fully charged and my late 2013 MacBook pro recognize the battery and all my problems solved. This battery is really awesome and frankly all I needed to replace the old battery what is included in this wonderful product and now my old MacBook pro alive and working like a new one, highly recommend this brand for everyone, thank you so much again! An very happy customer.

Excellent quality and value
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this battery. Instructions for removal of old and installation of this one were very clear and it was easy to do. I've had it for about 3 months and so far holds its charge as it did on day one.

Providing new life to my late 2013 MacBook Pro.
I appreciate that this product offering included almost all the tools necessary to make battery replacement possible. I should note though, I did have to use my own twine to 'saw' off the old battery adhesive. I also had to provide the alcohol (used regular rubbing alcohol) and paper towels to clean off the stubborn adhesive residue left on the MacBook Pro.I watched a few online videos, and focused on one that seemed most straight forward. I took my time, and carefully sized up each step, and proceeded with caution. The most difficult part was removing the old battery, but it wasn't an impossible task. Just patience, care and elbow grease were needed. (helpful hint. Tie the ends of twine to small dowels/sticks and use them as handles. This protects your hands, while providing excellent leverage, facilitating the sawing motion.) Also, elbow grease and patience is needed to clean off the adhesive residue that's left on the battery space in the laptop. The battery is not an exact replica of the original battery. It seems to be very slightly smaller. So, when you're placing it in the space, note that it has to be positioned such that the connector can reach the contact point. When I first put the battery in, with the adhesive exposed, it wasn't placed exactly right. I needed to move it 'upwards' to match the corresponding cable connection. Luckily, I didn't press the battery into place yet. So, I was able to lift it and re-position it properly.I powered the MacBook Pro on, and that comforting chime was heard. I shut down the computer and proceeded to close up the case. Then I did a full charge, and a series of battery conditioning (full charge/discharge cycles) Some sites recommend 3 -5, one online source mentioned 5 at minimum with 10 being ideal. I settled on 7 conditioning cycles. My MacBook Pro was exhibiting weird symptoms when the original battery had died. Even the wifi would quit for no apparent reason. Now, with the new battery, all the weird behaviors have vanished. By the way, the MacBook Pro's design (original) battery capacity was 8600mAh. The new battery capacity is 8952mAh (it was actually a little higher during the conditioning cycle). Yay!It's been almost 2 months, and the battery has been consistent. I view this as a very effective remedy for a dying/dead battery, late 2013 MacBook Pro (A1398). Very pleased with the product, it rates 4.5 - 4.75 stars.

Useless battery that lasted 3-4 months!
Absolute junk! After 3-4 months of use, the battery dies within 20 mins! Avoid at all cost and buy a genuine battery as it will save you money down the road!

I would purchase this MacBook Pro 2015(Mid) Battery!
Battery works perfectly fine. Install was easy. But make sure battery is for your model MacBook. Battery came with tools needed to take screws out. For DIYers out there. Don't forget placement of screws! Oh, and another heads up. If your keyboard/track pad is un responsive... need to reset, so pull the ribbon out the connecter that's located middle bottom of battery for 30sec, plug back in... you're good to go! I would give FIVE STARS but won't let me.

Perfect fit. Laptop is very happy
This is the second battery that I have put in my 2014 macbook. It is still a great mac for my wife to manage her business remotely on. The whole process was about 20 minutes to replace.Highly recommendedCheck your model first

replacing battery worked well
Successfully used for: MacBook Pro 15", late 2013, model A 1398The included tools were essential and complete. The only thing I supplied myself: some ordinary isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol to dissolve the old adhesive tapes underneath the battery packs. The printed instructions were clear. One minor correction, though: In step 4., it suffices to unscrew just the 2 black screws pinning down the battery connector, and not the other 4 screws in the plastic barrier around the battery pack, as indicated in the instructions ("unscrew the 6 screws that secure the battery").More helpful to me than the printed instructions: the excellent how-to video of a similar product from the XINGLT Store:https://www.amazon.com/XINGLT-Replacement-Battery-A1494-A1618/dp/B0BWQZWR1L

Shuts off at 25%
I used the battery for just one day and discovered it only has 75% capacity. Even when fully charged, it only runs up to 25% before it automatically shuts off. I attempted an SMC reset, but it didn’t resolve the issue.
