I’m disabled now, so I don’t travel near as much as I used to. However, I am finding many places I do business with (including the government) are always sending or asking for sensitive documents and information be sent. I don’t really want to leave those types of things on my computer for anyone to look at.This was easy to set up and begin using. I’m not a true IT geek, so I can’t determine how hard it would be to break the encryption, but to the layperson user, it works very well. I set it up, and neither my wife nor my son were able to fool the fingerprint scanner.So, what do I store on it? A scan of my marriage certificate, my previous divorce papers, a PDF of my driver’s license, a PDF of my social security card, etc etc etc.So, when these items are needed, I can plug this in and access it. Otherwise, it is safe from prying eyes.Overall, I recommend!

To use this you have to use an app that works on an iPad with a lightning port or an iPhone. My iPad has a USB-C port and I don’t have an adapter that will work with it. I was able to get it to sort of work with my iPhone 11. I was able to set up a password and a finger recognition. I was able to do a ‘one click’ backup of my contacts, but I didn’t see a way to ‘one click’ all of my photos at once. It looked like they would have to be saved folder by folder. The case is a nice metal case. The instructions are small and hard to read. I had to use a magnifying glass. I tried using this drive on an old Macbook Air and plugging it in, the red light came on pulsing until I used my fingerprint on it. Then it showed up on my desktop and I was able to see the contact folder that I had saved from my iphone. I haven’t tried it on a Windows PC.

This high capacity, metal bodied flash drive is pretty incredible. The finger print detection works great. On an iOS device, it works as expected. Just like Touch ID, a fingerprint is needed to access the flash drive contents (once the device is initially set up). On a PC, it’s even cooler. You plug the USB end in and nothing happens but a little red light illuminating. Then you touch the fingerprint reader and the PC instantly sees the drive and you can access contents. Setting up the fingerprints was very easy and intuitive. I’m a teacher and always worry about my flash drive ending up lost (all my exams, quizzes and lectures are on it). This encryption gives a great deal of peace of mind. Only two minor complaints to share: (1) getting files on and off of the device via iOS is quite clunky, but that’s an iOS issue not this drive’s fault and (2) I know I’m going to lose those plug caps at some point. I wish there was a way to pop them on the other end like a pen cap. All in all, love this product. Secure, easy to use and well made.

Fingerprint and encryption can only be used on IOS via an app. That should be clearer in the description. Can be used in a regular non secure fashion in PC/Mac devices. Took one star off for misleading description title. Other than this, the flash drive works well and is fast on my PC.

Once I installed the app, this is basically plug and play. There is a one click backup for photos, which is basically what I needed.My iPhone is chock full! Mostly of photos. I don't love using "the cloud", so this is an excellent option to download, store and also transfer all my photos to a computer. The fingerprint security option is quick and easy to enable.Overall, quite surprised by and happy with this simple product.

My IOS devices all use the USB-C connectors so this Flash Drive could not be checked with those devices. I have a Lightening to USB-C adaptor, but the flash drive could not be recognized using that connector. I downloaded the app suggested, but the device was still not detectable. I tried using this Flash Drive on both the iPhone 15 and the IPad but it could not be detected. I was able to use the USB connector on my MAC to connect to this drive. Unfortunately, the security fingerprint and password cannot be set with a MAC, so this becomes a regular flash drive.I was able to load and download files very quickly using this drive, so with the limited tests I was able to perform, it is a good product if used as a basic flash drive. The manufacturer needs to figure out how to connect it using the USB-C connector that is on the latest Apple IOS Products so that the security features can be set.

Nice solid drive decent capacity and encrypted and protected with thumb print .I should have read description closer since I have an android device !This will work well transferring files from computer to Apple devices. This has USB a and lightning no USB c!
