Insta360 X3 Standard Removable Lens Guards

Unlike the screen protector, these both installed flawlessly. Seems like good quality and will definitely protect my lenses from road debri and bugs while it is mounted on my motorcycle. Wish the clear lens protector itself was available to purchase separately but doesn't seem to be the case. Most people aren't going to need to replace the black locking ring each time they replace the clear portion. Hey insta, let's get like 2 or 4 packs of just the clear lens protectors....

Don't buy OEM. These are great. And cheaper.

It helps protect it like it should but the lens does slightly affect the video quality and it scratches pretty easily.

I use these on my X3 attached to my R7. It has been great and I prefer this over the sticky lens. If you're anticipating that these won't scratch, yes they will. The point is to protect the real lens and that's exactly what they do. These are plastic and they will scratch with debris and drops. I dropped my X3 and unfortunately the back lens guard cracked but the lens itself was completely perfect. Keep in mind that these aren't sealed so you must remove them and clean them from time to time to get the dust out. Also do NOT forget to turn on lens guard in your camera settings. If you don't, you will have noticeable stitching issues. Once thing that makes NO SENSE is that Insta360, at the time of this review, does not make the Lens Guards sold separately or as a pack. Why do I need to purchase the whole Removable Lens Guards that come with the base if the lens are removable?! That's incredibly stupid. It should be a 1 time purchase and an option to buy just the lens.

Fogs up & gets blurry fast, better footage without it.

First, remember to adjust the camera's settings to allow for these lens protectors. The main thing I like about them is that they are easily removable in the event they get damaged. The base adheres to the camera body, and the lenses install/remove with a slight twist.

Got scratched SO fast. Not great quality for the money!

Enfin un ensemble démontable, plus de condensation (chaud/froid) en hiver (ski). Et démontable facilement,1/4 de tour si besoin de les changer. Installation facile.

The guards provide essential protection for the Insta360 X3 camera lenses. The installation was straight forward except that I noticed that the adhesive film was lifting off the protector housing when I started removing the covering strip. Be very careful and gentle when doing this step. I've only used the camera once with these guards. The image and stitching are very good. You do get some flare depending upon the sun angle. Unprotected lenses give the best 5-star image quality, but at the risk of damaging the camera lenses. So in most cases, I will use the guards and be content with a 4-star image.
