Pour La Victoire Women's Irina Platform Pump

This pump is lovely. Despite many negative reviews on the internet, I found the silhouette of these pumps to be irresistible. I waited over a year to purchase them because other reviewers convinced me that one size up would be required. Normally, I am a perfect 10. It took me this long to find an 11. I purchased the 11 and, not surprisingly, it is too large. I intend to keep them because they are suede and I tend to wear suede pumps with tights. Nonetheless, I just ordered two additional pairs in my correct size.If you love heels, these shoes will not disappoint. They are high but I find anything less than four inches to be unconscionable. Sorry. These cuties are quite easy to walk in because of the ample padding and alignment. They hit your arch and the ball of your foot perfectly. The shoes are beautiful on because of that amazing silhouette. As for construction and overall quality, I believe they compare favorably to my Prada's and Choo's. Seriously.I love Amazon so much because of its professionalism and integrity. When Amazon guarantees a particular delivery time frame, it delivers. Likewise, its merchandise is invariably authentic.If anyone is thinking about dropping some of her holiday bounty on these pumps-even for New Year's Eve, go for it. They rock more than Dick Clark!

I have wanted these for so long, so imagine my delight when they arrived. Here is my assessment: they are stunning and quite alluring, but the sizing is a bit off. I typically wear a 9 in PLV, but after reading other reviews, I ordered a 8.5, 9, and 9.5. The 9 fit well, but my heel slips out. As a result, the 9.5 was not even an option. The 8.5 was a very tight fit, but no slippage. I considered keeping the 8.5, but they are quite tight in the toe box and I would surely suffer. The end result: the 9 gets to stay, but with foot petals. Both in the footbed and also in the heel to keep my heel intact. They are a STUNNING shoe and they feel great. The fact that they have so much padding is amazing. I am used to heels, and this height is really effortless to navigate- with all the padding and stability that PLV provides. I ordered the black patent and am going to get the nappa and camel as well. They are worth it. You will not be disappointed.

I usually wear a 9 or 9.5 in heels. I have never owned a pair of Pour La Victorie shoes before so I ordered both sizes. I could not even get my foot into the 9 and the 9.5 was too tight for me. The length and width of the shoe seemed fine, but the toe box seemed really cramped. I understand that sometimes it takes a while to shoes to get worn in just right, but I could not stand to wear them long enough. I really do love these shoes, and I will probably order them in a 10 - I just know they will be the perfect fit.The color of the shoes were a little more of a taupe color then shown in the picture, but I liked the color they were better than the way they were shown.

I waffled on $245 for these Irinas...not sure if they would be manageable and the price was a deterrent, pricey for a semi-off brand shoe.I bought the 8 and 8 1/2 based on the reviews. I'm a very solid 8 in everything else but the heel height and the reviews made me add an 8 1/2 to my cart. Definitely true to size! I had heel looseness and slippage in the 8 1/2 but the 8 was the right amount of new shoe snug. I've been wearing them on the sofa for tv time and walking about my place so that their unveiling out won't bring me kudos AND pain! All said, a very pretty and very sexy shoe. TTS. The kid nappa is lovely...worth the purchase even if you can afford $500 for Louboutins (which I can and love but a party shoe should not cost more than $300). Re Loubs, I love the Simple 100s for the office!

I have always wanted a pair of these and finally got the chance to buy them. I purchased the black suede ones in my regular size. The reviews were very helpful and pretty much right on. It's true that these are pretty tight when you first put them on but they do stretch out and conform to your foot. I walked around in them in my house for about 15 minutes and they felt perfect. The toe box is the only part that bothered my foot at times during the night I wore them. I have a large pinky toe, though and that's the part that bothered me. I wouldn't even say it "hurt". It was just a little tight around it. I don't think it really had anything to do with the shoe, though. I was able to walk around and dance without discomfort. There is so much padding in this shoe. It was super easy to walk in this. Pour La Victoire definately got it right! I don't ever want to purchase another brand of heels because these were that comfortable! I want a pair in every color!

These are really high heels! But the platform definitely helps with the height. And there is a SUPER thick cushion inside of the shoe/toe box which makes a huge difference. I have a slight issue with my pinky toes getting squished and have to adjust and readjust when first putting the heels on. But once my feet are in there comfortably, I feel good in them. I don't wear them often, so perhaps that issue will resolve itself with more use and the shoe/cushion conforms more to my foot. I have definitely purchased other heels and shoes from Pour La Victoire as a result.

Wow what a beautiful shoe! They are high but not uncomfortably so as there is plenty of padding for the ball of your foot and the platform is pretty big. I bought the red suede ones and I will probably buy another color in the future as the quality of this shoe is excellent and they make your legs look amazing! Also, I ordered them on Wednesday evening and got them on Friday with regular shipping- thanks Amazon!Just an update: Still love these shoes. I wanted to have them in black but didn't want to spend the bucks for them. Big mistake! I purchased the Kelsi Dagger Linzy instead (they are identical) and they chewed my feet up. Also, for some reason I can barely walk in these yet I can practically run in the Irina. Save your feet and pony up the money for the Irina- they're worth it!
