The perfect sleeping pad? YES.
This is probably my third sleeping pad in about two years. I had always been trying the inflatable ones and never again. This is a self inflating foam sleeping pad and it works wonders. You let it expand for about 10 to 30 minutes and you’re good to go. I weigh about 185 pounds. I am 5’5” female have a decent size chest and this was so comfy. I slept like a baby. My partner is about 260 and he is 6’7” male and he said it was comfortable. He can never find something that’s comfy for him due to his height and he loved this. This is a great sleeping pad and I highly recommend it for anyone who is able to take something that is quite large. Because the sleeping pad is pretty big you would not be able to use this to go backpacking but if you are car camping, this works great.

Very comfortable!
Easy to inflate and deflate, and very comfortable. Made for close in camping as it is a bit large and heavy. I used it to car camp across Iowa in this years’ RAGBRAI ride. It was perfect for that application. Before the trip I compared it side by side on a hardwood floor with a comparable REI model. This won hands down. I’m 5’10” 200 lbs.

Decent Sleep Pad
I have used this several times now and I am satisified. First the cons.... 1. Deflating it is a pain. I start at the pillow end and pop open that value then roll it over once on itself and kneel on it to force the air out then roll kneel roll kneel until I get to the value. It helps to have pre placed a few compression straps under it before you roll it up so once you are done and while kneeling on it you can snap them on and snug it down. 2. The carry bag is an utter POS as once its compressed it still hardly fits and the stitching of that bag cant handle it and splits. I would suggest finding a sturdier storage bag. 3. Takes a long time to fill out once you open it. If you help it along by adding some air from a blower then its much better. its is also a bit thinner then advertized but not enough to really complain. 4. Bulky and heavy I would not recommend for backpacking and the like, but is just fine for more static camping. That said time for the pros. 1. Most importantly its comfortable and I do not wake up sore. 2. It fits both my cots one is a folding amazon no name special and the other is a standard coleman. 3 Good insulation from cold surfaces. 4. Its pretty quiet to sleep on and the material is a bit grabby so it helps with sliding around on it when you are in your bag. 5. works well in my double nest hammock and given how well it insulates I dont need my underquilt unless if am camping in the middle of winter. That said this is my go to sleeping pad and if it were to need replacing I would buy another one. Going on three seasons now and still works well I have however replaced that crap carry bag.

Super comfortable and easy to use if you read the provided instructions
As stated in the title, this mat is super comfortable. I’ve used it while camping and could sleep on my side and stomach without discomfort. I’m not sure why people are so confused about inflating and deflating, the instructions are provided both on this page and in the box and it’s super easy: just take the entire plug out to inflate, take the plug out to deflate as you roll it up into the provided elastic bands. Takes no time at all and I could do it by myself no problem (f24). Would highly recommend for regular camping, probably too bulky for backpacking!

Budget friendly for car camping
Initial impressions on this sleeping pad are excellent! After being compressed in the box, it tried really hard to self inflate, after a few minutes I helped it along with my rechargable mini air pump. Once inflated, it held air well. The pad has both air and foam, making it way more comfortable than a traditional air mattress. We try it out for real on our next camping trip in a couple weeks, but we liked it enough to order a second one for that trip. One downside is that it's fairly heavy and bulky, about the same as a rolled up, extra thick yoga mat. But it's so much more comfortable than sleeping on a yoga mat. And, for car camping, the extra weight isn't really an issue.

Good pad, but needs accessories
First, I should say that the pad, once fully blown up, was fantastic! A total world of difference, from traditional inflatable pads. As other reviewers have noted, it does not fully inflate to 3 inches on its own. Another reviewer had mentioned that she used her “tiny pump” to help it along. Intrigued, I investigated the tiny pumps, and found that they were $20 and the size of an egg… So I purchased one. It is a miraculous little product that quickly inflates not only this pad, but lots of other things used on a camping trip…highly recommend!! At any rate, like I said, once the pump helped get this thing to full capacity…the pad was super comfortable! The other accessory needed is a carrying bag, since the one that comes with this pad is fairly worthless. The carrying strap broke the first time I used it, and the bag itself is far too small to try to re-stuff this pad. Even tight-rolling it as much as I could, I could not get the pad back in the carrying bag without tearing the bag. Therefore, I had to purchase a 28 inch light weight nylon duffel here on Amazon for another $18…it works beautifully with this pad. Bottom line, this is a very soft and comfy pad, but if you want to be really happy with your purchase… You will need a couple accessories!

It's not a bed but....
For a thin ( thicker than most) sleeping pad it's not bad. I have slept on it. It's quiet when Rolling around on it. I have 2 others and this one is the best. It has foam in it then u add air. If your younger I think you'll have no problems with this pad. I'm older so I still wake up a little sore but that could just be my age. Maybe a little thicker would be better for me. But other than that very good!
