Very pleased with this product, always a bit wary of knife sharpeners, but my worries were unfounded. It does a very good job with very easy use, please read the instructions before using, and leaves a very good finish on the knives after use. The collection trays are easy to empty and well incorporated in the unit. I found i did not have to use the 3rd slot hand sharpener as the knives were completely honed. Very good tool.

Well packaged and well madeInitial results very disappointing and my original thought was to return as many of my knives seemed to be no sharper after using than before, particularly the lesser quality ones. On my mid range knives results were a little better - I would say the unit could take a 30% sharp knife to 60% perhaps? However, with some experimentation - using less force on the draw through and doing it more slowly things improved. I also started to use the slight variation on presentation angle allowed within the sharpening grove and this too got a better outcome. I can now get somewhere near the sharpness of the knife when new - 80/90~%Given the decent construction of the unit, I’m hopeful it will continue to work well over time.I don’t know how much difference it might make but for reference my knives range from £5/10 cheapies through to mid range at £30/50. I have no experience of the high end ones and cant say how good this machine would be for that level

Excellent Knife sharpener. Silent and very easy to use. I have not tried the serrated blade sharpener yet as my bread knife is still very sharp.

Certainly makes the knives sharp, a little noisy with the ‘grating’ noise

Sharpened well the first time, but already I need to use more time to get the same sharpness after only using it 10-12 times
