I fitted three of thes to replace existing ones that snapped due to aged plastic. There was no rear protective mesh to stop bugs, but that was easy and cheap to fix, and they look great. Overall happy with these items and will buy again, when my other old window vents fail..

Good product that does what it says on the tin. Is a bit flimsy but once attached to the window, it works perfectly fine. Take care when thinking about where to place it on your window frame.It definitely helped watching a YouTube tutorial beforehand as the supplied instructions are pretty vague.Provides enough fresh air in conjunction with an extractor fan to clear condensation from our bathroom window after the shower has been on in winter.

Old trickle vents were falling apart so ordered these on recommendation from a neighbour. Fitted the previous holes perfectly and look better. I used the previous fasteners though as the supplied screws had a smaller diameter. Order could have been improved if the inside and outside could be ordered separately as I only required the outside part. Self tapping screws would also be better than the screws provided. But apart from that I’m very happy with the purchase and have ordered more to change all the trickle vents on my windows.

I was surprised to see that the item is a branded good quality item and is made from good quality materials. There are no installation instructions because these type of vents are normally installed by window manufactures. That said, the vent is easy to install with some basic tools.Don’t expect miracles. If you are experiencing a high level of condensation then you may well require a dehumidifier or a PIV ventilation system. Nuaire are market leaders in PIV and they can be found on Amazon.

I bought these at the time to put into my house that I rent out because my tenants were unable to open windows and there was mold appearing inside the house so these worked really well they're easy to pretend I just drilled a few holes followed the instructions and put them in problems solved as long as the vents are left open they don't make your room too cold but I have a Victorian property that needs ventilation they were never built to have double glazing

Easy to fit and prepare before drilling the holes and then easy to attach. Great value for the money
