This product works great I professionally installed it myself, as I put them in for a living. Little bit different from the mitsu, but works just as good. I honestly don't have one complaint about this unit. It is even quieter than some of the higher end ones I have installed. The remote and app are a little fidgety but by far a great product and worth the money Update it has been 2 years and I have not had one problem with this unit it works great and has never failed me heats the room in the winter and cools it in the summer does what it's suppose to do. Highly recommend

First and foremost... This product is designed to be installed by a professional. Lots of key information is not in the manual most likely because this is probably first hand knowledge for an experienced hvac person. Information missing from previous reviews. 1) the larger line on the indoor unit is pressurized. Be careful removing the cap. 2) the outdoor unit MUST have the lines seated properly. 3) on the outdoor unit you must remove the copper caps(the ones pointed away from the unit) and open the valves ONLY AFTER you have properly seated the copper lines. You will hear a slight hissing as the coolant fills the lines. If the hissing last longer than a few seconds or you see liquid escaping you need to close the valve immediately and either seat your line better or find the leak. 4) batteries supplied were dead. The remote will still light up, but won't power the unit on in that case. I think that covers all the info missing that we managed to figure out. Unit is incredibly quite inside and out, powerful fan, super sleek, android setup was a breeze. Very happy with this unit.

Bought for my late 1800's house. Does a great job at keeping the living room comfortable. Pretty easy install with the pump kit they recommend.

To be clear, I have not completed installation yet. I am doing it slowly because I think I will have to order more parts etc. and don't want to stress. But I wanted to give my impressions as I go along. PRO: - very sturdy materials and well built and clean looking. - Arrived quickly CONS: - There really are NO instructions. What they provide does not make sense and goes out of sequence. There are vague references to electrical connections, but not how to find where to connect the cables! Hint: open up the blower unit, then open the panel to the right by undoing the one screw. There is no info on how to move the drain pipe. AND NO template!!!!! Drilling a hole in your wall is guesswork! I'm pretty handy and still got it off a bit and the hole shows a bit under the wall unit. - The website is "Powered by WordPress" which is concerning that they didn't even edit that out! So it's iffy if the company is legit and has any staying ower since they don't have a proper website. - I contacted support 4 days ago and still no reply. - There is no way to register the unit for a warranty. In their drop down, spilt units aren't even an option!!! - The black unit I bought doesn't even show as an option on their website!! - The website contains NO usefull information...no manuals, downloads, only one line of text about the units. - The lines are short, maybe 10 feet! So I am worried about placement of the compressor and will more than likely have to spend another $80 to buy new lines (so consider this when price comparing) UPDATED: fully installed. Used YouTube plusn other resources to install. The hardest part: bending the tubing without pinching it! It was hard to get it all lined up nicely. And the length you can see, just fit. The unit works great!! I can barely hear the inside unit when on low, and on high it's still very quiet!! You can turn the display off as well to eliminate all light! The outside unit is so quiet that I thought it wasn't working!! I actually had to go out and check it, haha. The app is just a version of Smart Life, but if you want to use Amazon echo, you have to add the unit to Smart Life and it functions ok but there's a lag on the app. Using the Della app, it worked perfectly very responsive. I emailed and asked about it but as seems to be the status quo, no reply from support. But it works great with Alexa, the remote is fine as well. Overall I am very pleased with the unit!

Great price for proposed function had not had the time to install this in my office but plan too soon and will update when possible.

Do not buy this unless you fulfill all of the following requirements: -You are generally a very handy person -Your installation will have the minisplit head unit on the exact opposite side of a wall from the condenser -You own a torque wrench -You are using flareseals -You are not extending the length of this at all -You know exactly how to plumb a condensation line Or if you're an HVAC person I guess. Note that very few HVAC people up north will work on this unless you buy it directly from them. If you're planning on having an HVAC person install it, BUY ONE DIRECTLY FROM THEM. This was a nightmare to install in a more custom situation. Save yourself time and money by following my suggestions. You will regret not doing so EDIT: DO NOT BUY THIS MINISPLIT PERIOD! GOOD LUCK FINDING SOMEONE WILLING TO COME OUT. Actually, buy this for someone you hate or recommend it to them. It will make their life a living hell until they gain the good sense to throw it away

This thing is awesome. Keeps room super chill during the 100+ heat in California. Has a timer and scheduler to have it turn on/off at preferred times. Have seen our overall electric bill go down now that we don't have to run the house a/c just to cool a few rooms. The installation was expensive, but that's not Della's fault. We paid an electrician $800 to install this, which also included adding a new breaker just for this split a/c.

DIY install. You should use a heat pump to prep the lines for install. Ours has been installed for 2 summer and 1 winter. Works great. App is much better than the remote for controlling the unit. Be careful not to kink the lines.
