Works great inside of any baseball cap, very well vented, keeps your head from getting suffocated like most bump caps.

I guess it is standard but there is not padding between the plastic unit and your head... a little foam would be nice as it is not that comfortable.

I recently started a part time teaching job in an automotive department of a local college. I learned of this in the lessons I was teaching! I'm just over 6' tall and have a bad habit of knocking my head on the underside of a car while it's on a hoist. this saves the little bleeding messes from sharp edges. really worthwhile. the only thing I don't care for is it makes my head sweat. the cap I chose to put it in was a decent fit for my head but, this made it feel a bit small. it's light enough. definitely worthwhile.
