Misleading information and therefore a waste for me trying to check for hyperthyroid.

The test kit worked like it should but there is one glaring drawback to the test kit the lancet to draw your blood with. The ones I was sent I couldn't get open to use so I had to use a lancet from a glucose monitoring kit to draw blood for the test. The test came back negative so I guess it worked no real review on that but otherwise it was a straight forward test kind of like a COVID test but with blood instead of mucus. If it weren't for the lancet problem I would have given it 5 stars.

Tried this while waiting for labs to be done.Symptoms pointed towards possible thyroid issues.Test indicated level were normal, labs confirmed that.

I've never done a pinprick and drawn my own blood, and I was not able to get anywhere near filling up to the line, it gave me an accurate result, not the "invalid" result, so it worked.

Do not buy!!!!! No result in the window

I followed the directions, and the result indicated that I did not need thyroid medication. I have read that levothyroxine has been tied to the increase in bone deterioration in studies at Johns Hopkins. So, I skipped my levothyroxine for two months. Then I took this test. I will share the results with my doctor, and I hope his lab tests also agree that I do not need the tablets any longer. If this test agrees with the doctor's test, then I can report later that it is reliable.
