Very cool product
I feel like I am in a Chinese Historical Drama! These are so cool - these lipstick papers are infused with rose petals to give the lips a natural reddish shade - or as they call it, Ancient Red. To use, just make sure your lips are moist and wet and then press your lips down on the sheet of lipstick paper. It should transfer over to your lips. I blot them several times to get a slightly darker shade - it isn't a deep red, but a natural looking red. Very cool! It isn't that long lasting, but it is an experience. These come beautifully packaged in a box as well.

Fun experiment with Chinese lip stain
I’m a Senior Asian woman athlete with a complexion tanned by sun exposure, which probably affects the effect of this traditional Chinese lip stain. I love trying traditional Asian makeup, especially at Halloween, so, I gave these lipstick papers a go.First of all, they’re papers made with rose extract, and there are a dozen little squares (I didn’t count to verify, they’re a bit delicate) in the lovely linen covered box. I cut one of the squares into quarters, to not waste a whole one.The instructions on the box are in Chinese, so, I had to refer to the product description for a how-to. It said to lick your lips and apply the stain, which I did by both pressing my lips together over the paper, and by gently wiping the paper over my lips. It also suggested applying lip balm to seal the stain, which I did with a clear non-glossy balm. The result was a light stain, even when I re-applied it after removing the first attempt and using an old makeup trick of applying a neutral foundation on my lips, first. The stain did get all over my finger tip, but, washed out with soap and water.Overall, it’s a fun product, but, it took several reapplications of the paper (I had to use two of the quarters I cut) to get any color at all. Maybe it would look better on someone with a more pale complexion. But, the stain does last long and is natural looking.
