SmartSun UV Wrist Band Indicator

Bought three versions of UV sun monitors and this was the worst performer by far. Took way too long to change colour and most times didn't do that at all despite being used in the middle of area week 40c heatwave ! Don't rely on them for your kids.

What a great little product. Would recommend to anyone going on holiday, playing sport or generally spending time outdoors. This is a small price to pay for a product that could potentially help you to protect your skin from damaging UV rays

I burn easily in the sun, so was keen to try the bands.This product does work, but the colour change is quite subtle, so initially I found it difficult to see. However, I found that the Smart Sun printed logo gave a sharper colour change. It showed that I needed to reapply sunscreen every 2 hours in Mediterranean sunshine. I would do this anyway, but reassuring to have this confirmed. Quite expensive, but useful if travelling to a new destination.

Purchased for 11 yr old fair haired grandson who was visiting Greece in July (hot!), and without parents to supervise sun cream applications. He was highly delighted to take responsibility for himself, and to have something different from the other children he was with. He came back with no burning, and very happy that the bands had worked so well.

These really worked and were invaluable on a hot summer holiday with a three-year old. It turned the chore of having to re-apply sun block into a game as he watched the band change colour…
