Just What I Need for a Water-Dispensing Bucket
I needed a bulkhead fitting to add a hose bibb to a 5-gallon bucket for a special garden project. I used a wood-working 1" spade bit to drill a hole near the bottom of the bucket and installed a hose bibb with 1/2" male pipe thread to the inside of the fitting, as shown in the picture. The fitting came with rubber gaskets that provide a tight seal with no leaks. Everything worked as I had planned so I am extremely pleased.
