for Multi-Device Power Users with Incredible Battery Life and Ergonomics
Incredible Battery Life and ErgonomicsI always like to give a product at least three months of consistent use before writing a review, so I can speak to its long-term performance. After using this ProtoArc trackball daily, I can say it's a fantastic piece of equipment, especially for anyone juggling multiple computers. The ergonomic design and adjustable angle have been a lifesaver for my wrist during long work sessions.Functionally, this mouse has been a reliable powerhouse. The trackball is smooth, the connection is flawless, and switching between my devices is seamless. But the battery life is what truly blows me away. In the entire three months I've been using it, I have only had to charge it once.My long-term experience has been overwhelmingly positive. If you want a comfortable, reliable mouse with a battery that lasts forever and streamlines a multi-device workflow, this is an excellent investment.

Comfortable and quiet.
I tried several different trackball mice to finally land on this one. I had no problems connecting to my Mac Mini with Bluetooth and it is very responsive. The tilting position really helps to keep my wrist at a comfortable angle and the scroll wheel is in the right spot. Very easy to set up and use. I was a little worried about the forward and back button not working, but it has been functioning properly. I even downloaded an app to use the scroll wheel click for trackball scrolling. All in all a keeper!

Lightweight plastic. Tilt is on a hinge, easy to charge.
I have hands with damage from arthritis so moving a mouse is a literal pain. I have used trackballs for over 20 years. When I tried one with a tilt, I was hooked. I like to have a mouse at every computer. A new crafting machine needed a computer so I needed another mouse. Rather than spending a lot of money to get another Logitech, I thought I would try this. It is a good deal and will do the job I need it to do,Cheaper plastic, the hinge that gives the tilt could break if the user is not careful. Trackball Scroll speed can easily be set from slow to super fast. Super fast might be good for gaming but not so great for everyday work. The back/forward buttons are in an inconvenient place. I would have switched them with the mouse speed buttons. Scroll wheel speed is okay. Disappointed that you cannot click with the scroll wheel.I have smaller hands and this fit well. Once I got the speed set for how I am using this mouse its functionality is just fine. Battery life seems to be okay, It is easy to recharge it. The price was right for me to try it. Is it my Ergo MX, no but this is a fraction of the Logitech. This connected easily to my android tablets and phones, It also easily paired with my Windows 10 and 11 devices. This will not replace my work trackballs but they will be the go-to in my crafting room.

Good office mouse
I use this for work and with a laptop, and the button to swap to other devices is super convenient. It has a comfortable grip, and the adjustment from flat to angled is nice.I've even used it for some casual gaming and found it comfortable and completely usable even in first person games. Great battery life even when left on.Choice of Bluetooth and the dongle is useful, and means I can use 2 computers and my phone or another device.Cheaper than the Logitech equivalent, which is insanely overpriced, and I couldn't find many others with the same profile. Pretty satisfied overall.

Bought this just to spite Logitech, and I'm pretty happy
After having spent $70 on the fancy Logitech MX Ergo trackball, my left button started failing after 3.5 years. I certainly didn't want to spend another $70 on a trackball that doesn't support bluetooth and charges with a micro-USB port. Then I came across the ProtoArc, an obvious clone of the Logitech MX Ergo but with all the features I want. It can connect with both bluetooth and the included dongle, charges through USBC, has an up and down button for tracking speed, a larger 900mah battery (vs 500mah on the Ergo) and cost half the price of the MX Ergo. There doesn't seem to be any compromise in quality. The trackball is very smooth, and the build quality is solid. They also put thought into their packaging to boot. Oh, and the tilt plate on the bottom of the trackball attaches to the whole unit so it doesn't come off. It's a small detail but I definitely like that more. There is one slight complaint however, it's that the scroll wheel is harder to spin, making my finger more tired after scrolling a lot. Hopefully I can just oil the scroll wheel or something to make it spin easier.I've used Logitech trackball for the past 25 years, started with their wired version to the MX570 for both home and the office, followed by the MX Ergo in 2020. Logitech seems to reserve their most expensive products for bluetooth support and for the trackballs there isn't even an option with the premium price. I was forced to use my Macbook that has no USB-A port with an adapter just to have the dongle plugged in. Makes you forget it's the year 2024.I'm glad that ProtoArc stepped up to the plate and offered a great trackball. I'll now keep an eye on what else they offer. Hopefully a keyboard that rivals my Logi K750.

Ok for the price but far from smooth as the Logi MX Ergo
I had a Logitech MX Ergo that was starting to show signs of aging so I decided to purchase this mouse. While the mouse is comfortable and responsive, it doesn't compare to the smooth movement and precision of the MX. The cursor jumps around a bit and the trackball doesn't feel as smooth. Please note, this was right out of the box. Overall, it has very similar features as the MX and you can't really complain with the cost. I intend on keeping it but will likely upgrade to another trackball in the future.
