Finally — a gas can nozzle that actually works
If you're like me and can't stand the newer "safety" spouts on gas cans, do yourself a favor and buy this set. These replacement nozzles are simple, effective, and way easier to use.No more fumbling with buttons or awkward angles while trying to pour gas into a mower, generator, or small engine. You just tip the can and pour — no mess, no hassle, and no splash-back.It’s exactly what gas cans used to be like before all the over-complicated designs came out. Worth every penny.

This is the kit to get, with a couple caveats.
If you're reading this, then you are looking to replace your spouts from CARB compliant gas cans that not only do not work well, but they hinder you from filling a tank. But because of government overreach, you now cannot buy a new gas can that is not CARB compliant. (I am from California, the origin of such stupidity. I apologize on behalf of my fellow citizens.) There is nothing stopping you however from modifying said gas cans.I am an Uber driver, so I thought rather than going to the gas station every day, I would just get some gas cans, fill them all at the gas station, and just fuel back up at home later at my convenience, especially if it's late at night and only the more expensive 24/7 stations are open. The problem is that any gas can you can buy now is ridiculously cumbersome and fills extremely slow with the nozzles provided. It would take me over 6-10 minutes each to empty my 5-gallon cans into the tank with the provided nozzles, depending on how much the nozzles chose to suck. With this kit, I cut that down to about 2 minutes to empty a 5-gallon can. So it really does work as intended. This is especially helpful since I have to awkwardly hold the can at an angle to fill the tank, and the less time it takes, the better because of the weight I have to hold. The top-hat looking caps twist on in order to get a better seal on the spout. What makes this kit better than others I have bought and tried is that the plastic for the nozzles is pretty thick. With others, the plastic was very thin, and when I would try to use them, the weight of the gas can would flatten the nozzle and deform to the point that they would split open or squeeze the hose enough to prevent flow. The gaskets on the others were also weak and cheap, breaking on the first use, and would leak gas everywhere too. The rubber on these gaskets are pretty strong and I have not experienced any breaks, deformities, or wear yet. No leaks either. So while you get more stuff for less for other kits, the quality just isn't there and they'll be useless to you, especially so on bigger cans. One thing I did not like about these is the included drill bit. It does not work well at all. If you have something better like a titanium bit, just use that. I tried the one included first and it took me well over 20 minutes to get into the plastic while also trying to use a hole punch. On my second can I used my own titanium one and it took mere seconds. The venting caps went in no problem and offer a tight seal while also giving away very easily to allow venting.Be forewarned, there is a chance the caps for the nozzles' base (collar caps) may not screw on to your gas can very well, even if you’ve measured the diameter of the can opening. The coarse cap did well on my Midwest brand gas cans, however it did not for my Garage Boss brand cans. While I did get them on the GB ones eventually, it took a wrench to get it back off; just not an option when you're at the gas station trying to get them off to get the gas in.I highly suggest buying Midwest gas cans not only because I know these caps play nice with them but also since they have that convenient side handle when you have to hold it awkwardly to pour it. They're usually available at Menards, Target, and Harbor Freight, and other retailers, but the first three tend to have the better prices, far better than Amazon. Beware CA residents that they cannot be shipped to you.So far, no leaks from the collar cap or nozzle and I've been using it for almost a year now after more than 100 fill ups and outdoor storage. No signs of deformities, cuts, or even discoloration, including the rubber gaskets inside.

Replacement spout for gas can, fits but is short
It fits my older gas can perfectly with the wide thread screw on. Unfortunately the spout is way too short to really be useful to me on a 5 gallon can. I should have paid closer attention to the length.

Fantastic modification to your gas cans!
Fit all my cans and no leaks! All different brands of gas cans and the 2different thread pitch caps fit great! One of the cans is kind of an odd ball and is almost in between the two different thread pitches but still functions perfectly!

Worth it
I bought this and threw away those safety gas dispenser junk. These spouts work great. Life saver. I have like 5 gas containers. This worked out perfectly. Feels like the older gas can model dispenser. I miss those.

Great replacement nozzle
Needed replacement nozzles for my plastic gas containers. These fit the threads perfectly and make pouring much quicker and easier than those “safety” spouts.

Work great
They work and do their job. No more annoying CA compliant spouts to deal with.

Quality made!
Well made. The hose is longer than others which makes it easier for pouring out.
