I Bought this dashcam along with the hardwire kit for my car. As I began the installation I realized I had ordered the incorrect hardwire kit (micro USB vs. USB-C connector). I immediately emailed the customer service address and explained the problem. I was amazed to receive an answer within 2 hours asking for shipping information for the correct part. Two days later I had the correct part. Now that's GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!I have installed the dash cam with the hardwire kit and the camera is high resolution and working as promised. I upgraded the 64gb SD card to a 256gb for better storage. I will soon install the rear facing camera and suspect I will be equally happy with it's picture quality and ease of installation.To sum up, the MioFive S1 Ultra is a high quality dash cam that installs easily and performs well in it's function as a dash cam. Add to that, outstanding customer service and you have a great deal.

EDIT: We now have hardEdit: Had good support when dealing with an issue related to the rear camera.The app can be a little confusing.EDIT: It turns out that Wi-Fi is the primary method for connecting this phone to the app. Bluetooth is just used as part of that process. It does mean that in order to use the app, you still need to be connected to the cameras Wi-FiI had a second problem with the SD card failing after not even a day of use, but I did contact support and they are sending a new one. So kudos to support for that.The camera itself works well. The pictures are clear and in one minute chunks, so if you do need to download for an incident, you'd probably want to make note of what time it is when it happened. All in all is a good camera system. I've only installed it with the USB power, , so have not had a chance to try it out while hardwired. The images are clear, so no complaint there. It was fairly easy for me to get installed both on the front and rear cameras. They include clear stickers so that the camera can be removed if necessary at a later point without leaving adhesive stuff to the windshield. No problems with them staying on while driving. The camera itself --and support-- get five stars, but I wish they would address the lack of true Bluetooth connection to the app (Android)I would recommend it for the price.Previous post:The camera turned on, but would not connect to the app via Bluetooth

I just installed it recently, it's quite smooth to put it on. Easy to set it up and so far it has been working fine.

Edit: Rear camera was functional, but it appeared to be broken because I plugged the cable in backwards.Pros:- Wirecutter claims this is the best bang for your buck- Customer email box was super quick and helpful when I had issues- I was offered a full refund when I said I had an issue with the rear camera but that was just my mistakeCons:- Rear camera cable is easy to install backwards if you aren't paying attention- AI is gimmicky and I wish they woulda knocked off $15 from the price and removed that feature

The cable they provide in house gets bent if you don't leave enough space for the rear camera. I had to return the product back, because the USB piece is a MICRO-USB (gets bent really easily) not USBC (which you can't bend).

It is a really nice affordable camera with good quality video and handy functions but after being installed for just over 30 days the unit has stopped working.It will not power up at all.

Super easy setup and with the correct Dongar pig tail you can plug it into your rear view mirror harness for a wire free install. The cord to the rear can easily tucks away from sight around doors and the trim and is plenty long enough. You can select the video quality for recording on both cameras. Only giving 4 stars cuz the front camera is larger than I anticipated so to keep it out of the driver vision I had to put it on the passenger side of the rear view mirror. Really wanted to have it on the drivers side but I didn’t want any blind spots in the drivers view of the road. It is a good camera and connects easily with your phone to adjust settings. Recommend buying a larger capacity micro SD card and reader for pulling off videos.
