Nokia 235 4G Feature Phone with Bluetooth, MP3 Player, 2MP Camera, Snake and Long Battery Life - Black

I wanted to get this phone to stop myself doomscrolling and spending too much time on social media. The phone looks really nice, it’s plastic so it’s nice and light, and is a very sleek and small form. Typing with T9 is very intuitive and a hit of nostalgia, muscle memory kicked in immediately. It’s a no frills device but as just a phone for texts and messaging, it’s excellent. The sound on it is also decent for this type of phone but I usually keep in on silent anyway. I still have my smartphone and just use it on the side sparingly, the only difference now is that it’s not constantly in my hand and keeping me connected to everything. For how much time this phone has given me back, I’d say it was well worth the £60.

This was a replacement for an older Nokia phone (brick) that had done many years service for text and calls. Not a good idea. The keyboard was difficult to use and the navigation key ambiguous. Difficult to find all the options in menus to make the phone workable and then it has limited memory for messages. We just needed a simple 4g phone and this had us tearing our hair out. Wish we'd sent it straight back. It's worth nothing now! Money wasted.

Exactly what I wanted, making calls, texting and taking the odd photo. Nice clear display, buttons easy to operate. Nothing fancy, I couldn’t have wanted a better phone.

Good phone, but had to return it.They sent a purple phone, I had odered for a blue one .

Brilliant did its job

The screen is nice and large, nice phone colour, it's very light, and its durability should last a long time if you don't drop it on a hard floor. Functionally, it's very easy to use for texting and calling, and it's an ok price. BUT the huge 3 downsides are, 1 when receiving a phone call, it's very quiet to hear through the earpiece speaker, and you CANNOT turn up the call volume, and 2 the phone is slow to turn on, even with the battery fully charged, and 3 the Opera Mini browser is extremely limited for usage. Due to the inability to turn up the call volume, I'm returning the phone.

Totaly rewritten my reiew 2025. Had phone for about a year. My opinion now is that it is garbage. This is my 3rd nokia from the HMD range. All three are rubbish. The menu system is nothing like the old Nokia. The T9 dictionary and predictive text leaves a lot to be desired. Now the buttons on the phone when pressed don't give me the characters. All in all horrible phone. Now I found out HMD have done away with nokia range. Doesn't matter I will never buy an HMD phone of any type ever again. Nokia another great great brand destroyed by a takeover.

Der Akku hält keine Woche, obwohl das Gerät nur für Notfälle in der Küche liegt. Eher enttäuschend, da gerade damit geworben wird. Würde ich nicht nochmal kaufen. Telefonieren klappt gut, wurde aber von uns bisher wenig genutzt.

Très bonne réception du réseau. Bonne qualité de son. Photo correcte suffisant pour un accessoire secondaire. Reste à voir la solidité Attention prise anglaise
