It is not compatible with the Basement Watchdog 1/3 hp sump pump controller. Web site does not tell you which units it is for.

Works great with my Watch dog Sum pumps
The Wi-Fi Module 2.0 for Battery Backup Sump Pump Systems is a straightforward and effective solution for monitoring your sump pump. Setting it up is quick and simple, and it provides timely notifications via text for any events, offering peace of mind. My only wish is that it supported IFTTT compatibility, which would allow for greater integration with other smart home devices and automation systems. Despite this, it’s a solid addition to any sump pump setup for added reliability and awareness.

Peace of mind.
Works great, no WiFi connection issues.I got this after my main pump stopped working and I didn’t know till I went into the basement and noticed the battery backup was chiming an alarm.

Doesn't alert on some important things
It doesn't really list what all it alerts, but after getting the product and speaking to them, it only alerts you on things related to the backup pump and battery. So it does not alert you when the pump is activated, only if the backup pump is activated. For me, our pump rarely runs, but when it does, it is usually working hard because the water table has risen too much too quickly. So for me, knowing that the main pump is running is crucial. I may keep it, but I'll be adding back my old pump spy monitor to get alerts for it running, as it has saved my basement in the past, when my pipes separated and the water was just getting pumped up and into the room and not out of the house. Seeing it was running and running nonstop, it alerted us to check it and we caught the issue before there was much damage. I wish the same was true for this device. The app also doesn't list what notification you get or give you the option to only select certain ones. Overall, subpar and not really worth the price.
