Works well with Arduino Uno
I like that it has an led indicator to show it is active when an obstacle is in its way.

Works great but the wire housing did fray
This sensor works good. I’m happy with it. It’s very delicate though. I’m not one to be rough on things but the housing around the wire came off when installing. Quality isn’t that high in that area. You’d expect this after a year, not the first day.

Great for Arduino
The media could not be loaded. Simple photocell, works great for Arduino with 5V input and output. Did not include much about connection info. Blue-Ground, Brown-5VDC supply, Black-5V output signal. Will work great for my project to determine position of paper on platen. I think that mounting at a 45 degree angle will produce the best result for my needs. I've used a $300 Panasonic optical detector in applications like this before. Nice to have a cheaper alternative.
