Really cool product. Downloaded the software so I could review and edit on my computer. Easy to use. You don’t need to hold it any particular way as it really gets a 369 degree view.

Coolest action camera ive ever bought. ive only had gopro 7 blacks and 9 blacks before this and the 360 is so much better not having to worry if something in in frame while im recording, I can just turn it on and forget its there and capture EVERYTHING, I can actually be in the moment instead of worrying about framing 10/10 will buy another if I need another action camera. the only downside is the files are HUGE, about 1gb per minute

Easy to use. Its worth the money for any type of photography/videography, sports, surfing, real estate, vlogging, and so on. It is waterproof so thats a huge plus. Quality is amazing. and it is fast to take videos. Battery drains a bit quickier than i thought it would but i have additional batteries.

I like the camera.

Worth the money awesome videos edit capabilities make videos look great and, clips can be edited to make full length scenes stability is incredible took it on a WW II torpedo bomber ride made the completed video and it as stable as you could get

I got home from work and to open my brand new X4 Yeah. Spent the 4 hours trying to get it to connect to my phone. I got the Remote display to connect to my phone supper easy, I would expect the same from the X4. I have scanned with a WiFi Scanner I can see all my neigbors doorbells, but no X4 signal ;-( I'm sure the X4 product is Great from all the reviews and videos I've seen, but I can't get past the OBE (Open Box Experience Pg2), I Download and install Insta360, The App connects via BT, then tries to start the WiFi and connect without success. over and over again. Reboot both devices remove batteries. One suggestion said to reset, but can't get to setting screen from the OBE page 2 (right after Language selection screen). Support chat keeps sending me to some paid support helpdesk. not even Insta360 technician just some generic support company that wants my credit card number to chat with a tech. Update 9/10/2024: Insta360 Tech did email contact, but we are in different time zones, so each Question and Answer requires a 24hr cycle. I'm certain it's a bad WiFi module, never starts during the phone/camera handshaking process. Getting a new x4 tomorrow (Hopefully, Go Prime Overnight). I'll update the stars once I get the new one up and running... UPDATE: 9/12/2024 +2 stars CHECK YOUR TECH - OK it's official I am all-in on a full Tech upgrade that I am forcing upon myself. All just so I can use my two new insta360 x4's. Turns out my phone is too old for the x4 so, I have not been able to activate them yet. Yes them, I now own 2 brand new cameras thinking my first purchase was a dud, I bought another one for an upcoming trip and was going to return the bad one... As I said I am excited for this upcoming trip we are taking to the Big 5 National Parks in Utah. I have the x4s, the GPS Remote, Invisible SStick. Sling bag (fitted foam compartments) for all the gear like Extra batteries, Extra Lens Guards 2x, the SStick etc. I just now ordered a new Phone selected from the compatibility list at insta360, so I can get the x4s to activate. Oh I will also be needing to upgrade my PC while I am at it and get some additional storage... these are big files and need a good GPU if I choose to edit RAW. Ok next update might have some clips or pix once I get my new phone on Sunday. I only added 2 stars because I still have not heard back from Tech Support after they requested the S/N of my device and I responded with the info. It does however appear to be technology incompatibility on my side, they have enough on their plate than to deal with knuckle heads like me. CHECK YOUR TECH or be prepared to buy some new toys to play nice with your x4- ALL-IN

Its a great camera. Ive been learning it. The only problem ove seen is heat related. The compact size causes hest to build up when filming 8k. Which is 4k each lens. Ots better to use 5k+ or 5k action instead as the heat isnt as bad and the filming looks fine on these settings. It has some great things on it and the editor on computer adds some great features. Would recomend over gopro or such as its waterproof and point and shoot camera. You just film. Dont have to look where you are filming on 360 mode. You reframe in production. It has amazing video as well. Love it. And the extensions and such. Great for filming all around. If you are an amature as myself. Its the one you want. You also dont need the thermal clip as its pointless. Its for you to hold the thing. Why? It should be to dissipate the heat. But nope. Get an external cage as well. Should help with heat. I bought it as a gift for my boyfriend. He is absolutely delighted with this toy. Snowboard, bike, motorcycle or just driving a car with the top down - everything is great. During the day the video quality is top. It shoots poorly in the evening. Underwater you need to use an additional case otherwise the air on the lens will cut your frame
