Perfect for my truck. Truth be told, I've had a couple of close calls with being on the phone while driving. This phone holder will put an end to that. It's sturdy and good quality. I would recommend.

But it depends on how your vents are oriented. I have 2 vehicles, 1 with the vents recessed and 1 with the vents even with the dashboard. The vehicle with the recessed vents the clip can't get in snug to clip to the vent. It may seem snug at first but after a few bumps it shakes loose and its because the mount can't get in close enough to fully close it. The vehicle with the vents even with the dash it works great. Locks in and is very sturdy. Based on how it tightens down I question how durable it will be, I will do an update in a few months. But so far with the proper vents it works great. Hopefully someone finds this helpful.

This car mount is exactly what I needed for my Galaxy Z Fold. I’ve used it with the Z Fold 6 (also tested with older Fold models), and it holds the phone extremely firmly without any wobble, even on bumpy roads. The grip is strong and secure, which is very important for heavier foldable phones. I really like that it does NOT block the air vent. The mounting design is smart and keeps the phone stable while still allowing proper airflow from the vents. The clamp opens wide enough to fit large devices, including Z Fold 7/6/5/4/3/2, iPhone Pro Max models, Samsung S25 Ultra, and even an iPad mini, which is impressive.

This is a really heavy car mount and way too heavy for your vent. This broke the holder and my vent piece. It also is really hard to spread apart. Do not buy, broke right away waste of money.

Work perfectly for my z fold 7

I use it, but only when I have to. Let me explain. It works, but no better or worse than any other product out there. But mounting the Z fold 6 to this, you have to be incredibly careful not to screw up your screen, especially the phone is folded open Because the springs are so tight that it is awkward to mount and dismount the phone. Honestly, I don’t think I would buy this again for that reason.
