This car mount is exactly what I needed for my Galaxy Z Fold. I’ve used it with the Z Fold 6 (also tested with older Fold models), and it holds the phone extremely firmly without any wobble, even on bumpy roads. The grip is strong and secure, which is very important for heavier foldable phones. I really like that it does NOT block the air vent. The mounting design is smart and keeps the phone stable while still allowing proper airflow from the vents. The clamp opens wide enough to fit large devices, including Z Fold 7/6/5/4/3/2, iPhone Pro Max models, Samsung S25 Ultra, and even an iPad mini, which is impressive.

This mount is convenient for daily driving. It keeps the phone steady and within view without blocking airflow. Build quality feels solid and works as expected

Everything people have said is pretty true. It's plastic but feels sturdy. No directions with it but easy to figure out. Leave the two parts seperate until after you get the base hooked and tightened to the vent blade. It fit on my vent well and the phone doesn't block it since it has the extender rod. It seems stable with the phone in the holder both closed and unfolded. The spring loader is very strong so it takes both hands to pull it apart, but it holds the phone strongly. However, it tends to pinch me as the phone slips out so pay attention to your hand position. If you wanted to hold the phone while driving, it would be very difficult to detach it with one hand. Pull over. I was able to put a 2nd "Messages" icon on my large fold out screen of my Galaxy Z Fold 7 so I shouldn't need to hold it. It will be nice to use the Google Maps navigation on my fold out screen. I purchased a Android Auto/Apple Play portable oblong screen but could not come up with a mount that didn't block my view, block my settings screen or block the air vents, so I returned it. This is a decent compromise.

I was in search of something to secure my Galaxy Fold 5 while I was in the car and found it difficult to find an option where it did not include a built-in wireless charger. While this doesn't have nearly the same finesse, it really does exactly what I wanted it to do... which is hold my phone while open (like a tablet). It does an excellent job of securing my phone and I just plug it to keep it charged while using it for Android Auto. It's a perfect and simple solution as this holder isn't as expensive as other options where it includes wireless charging. If wireless charging could keep up with the pace of battery drain, the I could see the benefits, but until then I'm more the happy with this simple tablet holder that functions perfectly as advertised.

It's hard to mount this device to a vent and it too hard to expand. I pinched my fingers several times. I don't recommend buying this item.

I need this for my work. I volunteer with the local Sheriff's Office and needed something to hold my phone, which I use as a GPS, plus backup calls to dispatch that I need to be hand-free to make. I put it on the AC vent, and it worked for two shifts. Then, it just kept falling off, and even pulled one of the slats off my patrol vehicle.. This is not made for heavier phones, as I have the Z Fold 5. I never used it again, so maybe it works better with smaller phones. It did stretch to fit mine, though, and it comes with everything you need. Just not for me.

I love this holder!!! It holds my Fold 5 perfect. Very easy to install. Strudy great design. Hold very good to my windshield great security.
