I bought this because I like to sit on the floor and so I wanted a nice, cuchy pad underneath my rug. I looked for a rug with natural rubber because I absolutely do not like weird chemical smells. This mat has no odor. It is even cushier than I had hoped for. Also, it was very easy to cut to size and install under my rug. The rug does not slip over it. Also, the mat seems very well made. I say this because when I cut it, it cut very cleanly with no fraying. There are cheaper mats out there, but this one is a great value, especially if you like more natural materials.

Nicely thick with a non skid bottom. This is a perfect base to my thinner rug. I do have trouble keeping the top rug on top of the base. We are using this in our entry and it scoots off the base daily. Not a lot but some.

Works great should probably be 1" less all around. Pad for a 8 x 10 should be less than those exact dimensions so it fits well under most 8 x 10 rugs. Great quality, non slip and provides just the tight amount of "loft" under my rug.

We bought these as a pad for 2 rugs we gave our son. Both are very textural and need a pad to be installed on hardwood floors. We like the rubber backing for the pads keeps anyone from slipping and it also protects the floor from our granddogs nails (he acts like a puppy even though he is now a 'senior'). Highly recommend - adds a bit of cushion, protects the floors and no more stepping out of bed onto a bare floor. Comes folded up, but flattens out nicely when the rug is installed over it. Highly recommend this pad - safety and a very good value!

Comfort level was great but that's about it. Slipping and sliding is an understatement. I bought this pad because it was supposed to provide stability and reduce slipping of the rug on that pad and on the floor. It didn't work for either issue.

It worked out perfectly. Great size and good for the rugs that don’t have a big pile. Definitely keeps the rug in place. It also helps with straightening out the rug since most rugs come rolled up. Took a day to lay flat.

This has worked well to adhere our 5x7 rug to the tile floor. There has been no slipping with the rubber side next to the floor, and the rug has stayed in place. This pad is folded when shipped, so I laid it flat on the floor for a few days to allow the folding creases to relax before sandwiching it under the carpet. It adds a small amount of padding to the carpet. I am glad I bought this higher quality pad.
