This V Mount Battery Plate is a solid upgrade for my camera. It’s lightweight, folds neatly, and integrates perfectly with my Arca-type baseplate and tripod. I can mount my V-mount battery without adding too much weight on my setup. Works great with my SmallRig cage. Ideal for long shoots when you need extra power.

There are a few mounts for V Mount batteries, this one is more adaptable, but really its down to individuals needs. I initially bought a cheaper model then found it had disadvantages for my set up, better to find someone who already has a rig with a similar set up , will save you money in the long run.

The NEEWER Foldable V Mount Battery Plate with Arca Type Camera Baseplate came the next day.The camera baseplate was well packed and very well made all in a lightweight metal.After fitting a camera to the extendable baseplate (there is 2 1/4 screws if needed) and the battery also fits on the 180° tilting battery plate mounting plate which is also adjustable up and down if needed to fit or remove the battery.The Arca type base is also fitted with 1/4" and 3/8" threads to fit onto different tripod heads.I found this foldable mount and baseplate very adjustable for the camera and battery its also very light and foldable and it fits a lot of different cameras and batteries and we are pleased with it and its possible uses in the future.

I was very impressed with the quality of the build of the mount. It is very firm to operate and holds securely with some great locking systems. I have yet to find an angle it can't move to and the plates offer a wide range of size. I am happy with this well designed mount.

Ever since I got this, filming projects has become much smoother and less stressful. Though I'm not the most tech-savvy, setting it up was straightforward. Being a single mum with two lively kids, anything that saves time is invaluable. Using it with my Canon camera, I found the quick-release mechanism fantastic – it lets me easily mount and remove the battery, which is crucial when I'm on the move, chasing after my little ones or capturing their moments at a school event.One small issue I found was that the quick-release lever felt a bit too long for my liking, making it tricky to handle at times. Still, the secure and sturdy construction reassured me that everything was safe and sound. I even used it during a crafting workshop I volunteer at, and it didn’t disappoint. Versatility and reliability in one , there's not much else I can ask for!
