Too small and lite for me…maybe not for you.

This is extremely small and no where near the size in the photos shown. I went by the photos and not by the dimensions listed so that's on me. Otherwise it would be a 1 stat review.

This little wooden mallet is perfect for woodworking and detailed chiseling. Is size is such that you won't get too much leverage and thus remove more material accidentally. The circumference of the handle is comfortable in the hand while still allowing for excellent control and dexterity. The mallet is unfinished (no stain, sealant or varnish) but the texture further aides in the grip. I like this little mallet especially at it's price point!

I realize this wasn't expensive (around $12), and also realize they gave the measurements in the listing; silly me, though, I trusted the photos!This is a tiny, very lightweight tool made of roughly sanded, unfinished wood. I can't imagine using this in my leatherwork or anything else.

Too small, too light, no heft, and definitely not almost 8 inches in length. Less than 7 inches actual.
