Compatible with Cisco.
Works perfectly and the extra length is good to have. Does require the generic driver. Makes working with Cisco equipment a lot easier when you need to console in.

Good cable at a good price.
This console cable seems to be well built and of good quality. Much nicer than my old serial style cable that needed an adaptor.

Broken in 5 Months, still recieved a refund!
The cable doesn't register connected after a few months and ~100 uses. Lightly used, kept cable clean, and stored very well. The device has trouble registering when connecting to my MacBook Pro 14. I cannot recommend it and must look for a better alternative.Edit: support reached out quickly after this review and fully refunded my 5 month old purchase. Very happy with thier support.

Finally able to fix my network issues
When I started my latest job, it was plagued with networking issues from someone who should never have touched it to begin with. This cable was the solution. With it, I was able to take back control over my switches and reconfigure them so the network stopped trying to tear itself apart. Its long length made connecting to switches with rear serial ports a breeze, while also not needing to hold my laptop 2 inches from the device. Its odd color was actually a bonus, as it makes finding it in my networking base fairly easy.Great value, 10/10

Works with a silicon Mac if you buy the Serial app. Can't complain. Connected right up to a Cumulus switch in a pinch.

It’s a console cable… In all seriousness though I generally love the flexibility of the cable. It works has you would expect. Definitely keep a few with me.
