Glad that I took a chance and bought it
Battery arrived a couple of days earlier than expected. Not too sure on the quality of the tools that it came with and I didn't use them because I also purchased a higher quality torx screwdriver set to do this replacement. Took about two hours from start to finish to replace battery in my Motorola Moto X Pure Edition cell phone. The most difficult and time consuming part of the entire process was to remove the sticky tape residual from the back cover. Battery is not rigid so you can bend it slightly along the edges to make it look and fit like the original Motorola battery. Something that I found interesting is that Motorola sells this phone and lists the battery at 3000 mAh. When I removed the original battery it has printed on it that it is a 2810 mAh battery and not 3000 mAh. This replacement battery is 2810 mAh, exactly like the original Motorola battery that came in my phone. I have had this battery in my phone for 1 month now and it is working flawlessly, just like when I first bought the phone. I get anywhere from 1 to 1 1/2 days usage and couldn't be happier. . My original battery was completely used up and I could only use is very sparingly for about 30 minutes and then the screen would go blank and I had to recharge. This replacement battery has breathed new life into my old trusted phone and I am glad that I took a chance and bought it.UPDATE: Well I had to downgrade my original 5 star rating to a 1 star in the hope that I could save other people from a huge disappointment. I've had this battery in my phone for a couple of months now and it is already starting to show signs of failure. At first I could get one to one and a half days usage when the battery was installed. I get less and less usage everyday now and am back to charging my phone twice a day. I get approximately 5 hours of usage out of this battery using it very sparingly and then it has to be recharged. Phone is starting to shut off randomly with anywhere from 5 to 20 percent charge remaining. This week the screen started showing 6 light-blueish colored circles in the area that contains the battery. Looks like I'll be shopping for a new phone this time instead of wasting more money on faulty batteries.UPDATE: It turns out that the first battery that I received and installed was defective and BatteryMon quickly sent me a new replacement battery free of charge. I've had the second battery installed in my phone now for a couple of months and it appears to be working fine. My phone is lasting an entire day now using it for 15 to 20 minutes at a time several times throughout the day. I have to give BatteryMon a "5 star" rating for their customer service in admitting that I had received a defective battery and sent a replacement very quickly. I can only give the new battery a "3 star" rating because of two reasons. First, the battery will only charge up to 2,080 mAh and not fully up to 2,810 mAh which means that it is only charging up to around 75 percent. However 75 percent is a vast improvement over the original old worn out battery that came with the phone. Second, after about 20 minutes of usage the battery really starts to get hot and the AccuBattery temperature gauge reads 110 degrees. Overall I'm still glad that I took a chance and bought it. Thanks BatteryMon

Replacement installed, excellent customer service
***Update 10/29/18***After 7 battery charges I am happy to report that the estimated capacity of this new battery is 3100 mAh and holding. This is above factory specs of 2800 mAh. That LCD pressure Mark eventually dissipated after 3 days. I would say this, coupled with the excellent customer service, deserves five stars. Internal battery replacement is always a hassle, but eventually I got what I needed: a fully functional and undamaged phone.***Update 10/24/18***BatteryMon Customer Service is excellent and honors their warranty. They responded quickly to my complaint that the battery was failing after 3 months and sent a replacement. I've just installed the new battery and will update after charge and capacity testing. The install on the replacement battery was more difficult. It appeared to be from a different manufacturer and was much stiffer. Moto X Pure batteries have curved edges to conform to the phone body; if they don't come this way from the manufacturer, you have to bend them yourself. This battery was too stiff to bend much without damage. The pressure of the ill fit caused a 3 inch pressure spot on my LCD, which hopefully will go away as the battery warms and molds to the phone.Support: ★★★★★Quality: ★★☆☆☆Ease of Use: ★★☆☆☆___________________________________Original Review:I was able to replace the battery just fine after following online instructions. Some of the included tools were helpful, but not very high quality and not sufficient on their own. Unless you already have a computer/phone repair kit, you'll need one... and don't forget a spurger! Quality really matters for tools made of plastic.Once installed and charged, I factory reset my phone. After using a battery health app for a week, I've been able to determine the battery capacity is about 70% of the original factory 3000mA capacity. Still, this is a vast improvement to the failing battery I replaced. I have no more sudden shut-offs and can use the battery all the way down to 1% before my phone automatically powers off.I wish it had better capacity, but I'm still going to call this a win.

They work well enough
They work. Been using it for about a week. Didn't really have to bend the battery to get it to fit. These are rated at 2800 mah (down from the OEM 3000mah). But using an app on the phone, after averaging a few cycles, they charge to around 2400. But these are still better than the dying OEM batteries they replaced. Main thing is that I am able to get a full days worth with normal use now, and am able to get a couple of hours with video call if I want. I can feel safe leaving my 20k mah portable charger at home when I go places. Should give the phone another year of life, or become a good backup when I find a phone I like to replace it.

Don't last very long
I have ordered two of these now from BatteryMon. Was disappointed in how fast the battery became unusable (three months). It seems that if the battery ever fully discharges, it permanently loses 10% of its life. I wonder if there is an app that would prevent batteries from ever fully discharging. If you get the tools, they are flimsy, or just the wrong size (screwdriver). Additionally the connectors are flimsy. One broke on installation, but was able to make contact. The other seemed fine, but would loose continuity at random times, shutting down my phone. I like the price and the quick turnaround. Would like to buy from them again, but I don't like disappointment.

Gave my Moto X a little extension on life.
Bought for a Motorola X Pure. Was not quite an exact fit, but was close enough. Battery life was not as good as the original (maybe 3/4), but it did extend the life of the phone some. Batteries are getting hard to find for this phone which is too bad. The Moto X Pure was an excellent phone.
