Great Product
This item was exactly what I was looking for. It works great and provides what I need it to. I would definitely recommend this product to others who are looking for something similar. Fun toy for kids who enjoy need guns

tactical green toy gun
My son loved the look of this tactical green toy gun and the cartridges, and I liked that it didn't look exactly like a real gun while still looking pretty cool. It was fun for him to use but it ended up not being his favorite (without him having any specific dislikes about it--not the gun's fault!). It is still in good shape because it hasn't been used much over the last couple months. The "extra" tactical features are just okay but probably on par with other guns in this price range.

Extremely poor quality
We bought this gun and it broke the first day. We got a replacement and that gun broke as well, the first day. We are not getting another one. This product is rubbish.

Ok…but…
This is a nice copy of a Colt double action. It even has the bronco rider on the handles. Being able to load the cartridges and then reuse the bullets, if you can find them, is a hoot. The bullets are a hard plastic that push in the end of the cartridges and friction holds them over a spring about the size of a retractable ink pen spring. When the spring is compressed it pops the primer proud of the cartridge so the hammer can fire it. So it’s a spring loaded projectile that does not go very far. They are orange in color and you can visually see them deploy. It’s after they hit that they somehow become invisible in my mostly sand based yard. The cylinder actually swings out and has a functioning ejector rod. This whole process is not the smoothest operation as the cartridges want to drag and are sometimes difficult to remove. I accidentally let go of one of the bullets while loading it in the house and the wife immediately declared that this toy was for outside use only. It pinged all over the room and hit a glass covered picture. I am really surprised it did not break it.So the pistol and cartridges themselves are pretty cool. The other accessories though are pure junk. The “red dot sight” is just a piece of plastic that is lit from the perimeter with a crosshair etched or molded onto it. The flashlight is not very well built and the switch is not very good. Mounting both of these requires a fair amount of force and would be super difficult to ever get them removed. I just decided to forgo these two items and use it the old fashioned way, with the iron sites. That brings up another issue though. The rail for the “red dot” is moulded in with the barrel and blocks the view between the front and rear site. Not that you could hit anything you are aiming at anyway but it’s kind of aggravating.Maybe I am just being picky over a thirty dollar toy but I remember when I could buy working pistols for fifty bucks that had zero aggravating factors. Still, we have had some fun around here with this toy pistol and I will keep it up until I loose all of the bullets. There are twelve cartridges and a decent sized bag of bullets included so it should last for awhile.
