Amazing
The quality is amazing. I was afraid that the cassette bots would be too fragile or not be able to transform very well, but they are surprisingly easy to move around.

Good value for price
Very fun with lots of gimmicks to keep it interesting. Transformation of Soundwave, Buzzsaw, and Rumble is very easy. Ravage is a little annoying to transform.

Someone left the repeat button on on this Soundwave
I’ll start off by saying that I don’t have any of the previous versions of this Soundwave mold so this is the first time owning this particular mold and I can honestly say that it’s not worth the upgrade if you have any of the previous versions. I’m just underwhelmed by the figure and the minions. If you really need a G1 style Soundwave in your collection then this would do. The figure has mostly all the articulation points you would want. Unfortunately though, the feet can only rock to the side just a bit and can not be bent down. One of the shoulders doesn’t peg in tight enough so whenever I move it, it tends to pop off as iff it were a butterfly joint. You get three out of six of his cassette minions and the only thing really good about this set if Rumble since the SS86 version was hard to get. Rumble is practically the newest mold made while the others are a few years old. Buzzsaw isn’t that bad, but why Buzzsaw? They should’ve given us Laserbeak instead. Ravage is just horrendous and the worst of the 3 tapes.Overall, don’t upgrade if you don’t already have this mold. If you need a G1 style Soundwave, try waiting to pick this figure up at a discount. While I want a G1 style Soundwave and don’t have any version of this mold, I wish I waited for a sale or just wait for a Studio Series version. I’m sure once they do a SS86 version it’ll be priced higher and moved up to Commander Class ($80) and will include his 3 missing minions which are Laserbeak, Ratbat and Frenzy. In the meantime, this will do for now for me.

Do you need a tape deck? Soundwave can help!
First of all, let me just say how recently I've gotten into Transformers figures...But Soundwave has ALWAYS been a favorite character of mine.If you're like me and have watched COUNTLESS epsidoes of rthe G1 series, or played the War For Cybertron games, or even enjoy the series on Netflix and are looking for an AWESOME Soundwave figure?Look no further! To me this is easily one of the BEST figures to come out in recent years and he loks ABSOLUTELY beautiful!Pros:1. This looks JUST LIKE G1 Soundwave2. He comes with 3 "tapes" that fit into his tape deck! AND all transform as well!3. His transformation is SIMPLE and lokos great! I'd actually believe I was holding Soundwave from the series!4. He looks AMAZING next to any G1 themed Megatron!Cons:1. Honestly, the ONLY complaint I have is that the tape deck "buttons" don't actually push down or anything, I think that's the ONLY improvement to be made. (But even THAT is VERY nitpicky and a personal opinion)If you've stared at this guy enough and have been wondering... JUST PULL THE TRIGGER because he's VERY much worthwhile! And he won't be "New" for long and might sell out, don't miss your chance!

Soundwave Superior, Autobots Inferior
Soundwave himself is very sturdy in both his robot and alt modes. his joints articulate very well in robot mode and he has a great amount of possibilities for posing. the alt mode looks great from the front (as seen in product images) however the arms and extra bits are left exposed from the back, which is fine but it’s something i wish was shown off in the images before purchase.the cassette bots are less sturdy and less articulate than Soundwave which is to be expected, but Ravage feels particularly flimsy with their legs already having popped off on me a few times (they snap right back in, so it’s not a huge dealbreaker).despite a few qualms i feel the quality is very good for the price.

Amazing crisp mold of Soundwave
This new soundwave mold is very impressive. It features cool details, along with nice articulation and very g1 accurate design. I love the eject feature for the minions; it works well for me and is very satisfying to eject them. Speaking of the minions that come with him, they are also very impressive: Ravage, Rumble, and Buzzsaw. Out of them, Rumble is my favorite because of all of his accessories: two blasters and his signature giant arms. It allows for dynamic usage of a minion. Ravage and buzzsaw are also very cool and nice to pose with soundwave. Overall, this voyager class soundwave and its minions are worth the money and it is a good decepticon to choose for your collection.
