If you know somebody with an early Miata MX-5, you NEED to get this for them!!! Nice size, quite well built (but not child-proof), good size, and too, too cute!! Tongue comes off if you are not so silly.

I bought this car for my daughter Xmas gift. She liked it.

We gifted this to my son’s friend and he loved it.

My little brother was moved to tears when he received this gift!He grew up (literally) in this same (minus the tongue) car in the 90s! This was my mom’s car and she gave it to him in his 30s! He drove it until he got t-boned last year! He now drives a newer Miata but misses his old blue one!Perfect size to placed on a bookshelf and be a little memorial for his childhood car!Oh the quality of the “toy” is very durable and for a great price!

The media could not be loaded. I love this product, it's a perfect addition to my collection, but there are a few things I dislike. It's somewhat difficult to move the headlights up and down, as I often have to lift the entire hood just to get my fingernails under it. I thought it would popup by pressing on the headlights like my other models, but this one doesnt. I know my video looks kinda frustrating, but it demonstrates how hard some parts are to move. It also makes a very annoying high-pitched noise when you open the door. It's supposed to sound like a car alarm but it just sounds like a demonic screech from hell. But the product is overall well-made, beautiful, and the tongue is a great bonus.

The car is cool but considering it is a collectible it would have been nice if the box didn't come crushed since it was in a paper bag. I bought this as a present and had to give a crushed box as a gift.
