I think I reviewed this a month or two ago already. I am very happy with this purchase! It was very easy to set up(with a tripod we also ordered) and it is easy to adjust the lens. It is very clear, We have used it to look at deer, turkeys and the moon, the optics are always excellent!(Clear & bright-- not blurry). It seems like it's sturdily built---(doesn't feel flimsy). We try to be careful with it-want to keep it nice. The range seems very good--can see the wildlife clearly & can see cars on the highway clearly(the highway is about a mile away). It came extremely quickly, I think in about 2 days. It was very securely packaged in a strong camouflage cardboard box, with Styrofoam to keep it secure.

Absolutely perfect for western hunting as well as range days. It's relatively light weight for it's size so I don't mind packing it on trips and it's sturdy enough I'm not too worried about it. Overall the image quality is really good. I know there's better but this is remarkably clear at the price point. The brightness is exceptional at mid-day or in sunlight, at dusk it can dim out a little, but the clarity is still there so it works. If this is where your budget is, do not hesitate to get this, it's fantastic.

Excellent and very clear, did great on my deer hunt. Glassed a buck with them from close to a mile away as you can see in the picture.

Overall I'm pleased with the scope. At low power it has a bright clear image with good color. The image is clear from edge to edge. No slack in any of the gearing (focus knob or magnification setting). Material construction seems solid. Love the lifetime warranty! I can mitigate the cons but my solution costs extra $ Pros: Fantastic clarity, Several rotations of the focus wheel for fine focus ability. Heavy duty rubber dust covers (lens caps). At low power (20x) can easily spot a child's tennis shoe at 800m. Cons: No true storage case. Scope comes in two parts (body & eyepiece). Eyepiece locking ring must be re-tightened from time to time forcing foam condom (fitted cover/case) removal. Objective lens cap flutters in 15 mph wind causing scope to wobble on medium grade tripod. Cons of ALL spotting scopes: Focus not as sharp at high power. Image gets dimmer as power increases. Mitigations: Buy premium HD tripod with fluid head. Buy hard case for storage and transport.

This spotting scope is very well made and durable. It has a shock proof rubber coating over the entire body of the scope. It comes with a neoprene jacket to further protect it. I needed it to view objects close up at roughly 130’ and it was perfect. The zoom feature gave me an excellent field of view. Focus was clear. Light weight and easy to use. I did need to purchase a tripod head adaptor for my manfrotto tripod.

Great price, awesome product. Got it for my wife, who is a tour guide. Excellent for learning, also very good for short to mid distance.

Well made, solid construction, and clear beautiful lenses. I waited for it to go on sale, but still a great deal anyway.

I had a cheaper brand and the eyecup piece got lost at the rifle range one day. The brand started with a G and ended with sky. I sent an email to them saying I wanted to purchase a replaxemet part. Well the customer service was prompt to reply, over and over again asking for pictures and just dragging out the whole ordeal needlessly. They ran me thru so many redundant emails I thought for sure they were just gonna drop ship me the piece and call it day. Instead they finally came back with a price for the part and a crazy high shipping cost. So I told them to go kick rocks and purchased this Vortex with lifetime warranty. This one is far clearer to use which has also improved all the digiphotography I use a scope for. Solid build, light weight, easily transportable . It is easy to mount on tripod for additional stability. Works great. Thanks Vortex for a superior product at a fair price point .

For my money, the Vortex Crossfire HD 20-60x80 spotting scope is a value investment for both its cost and quality. It falls well within the budget-friendly side of spotting scopes, but it provides clarity, image stability, a wide field of view, and powerful 20-60x magnification at a very fair price.

Vortex optics are the best on the market. They have crisp clear imagery, the zoom and focus are smooth and firm. This spotting scope is a premium quality scope. It mounts to most camera stands really easy with the built in mount. It's a breeze to adjust the viewing angle. Great for bird watching. And you can't beat the vortex warranty

Decent optics
