I ordered this to spot clean a bit of mess made by my puppy.The unit pretty much came fully assembled. All I needed to do is to fill the water tank with water, and 3 bottle cap of cleaning solution (which came with the unit, very thoughtful). Once that's in, it is ready for business.Plug it in, turn it on, and now spraying the area generously with the solution. Then push down with the handle really hard to "pull" all the dirty liquid back up, then spray again, and pull again. After repeat this process about 3-5 times in the problem area, the carpet is visibly cleaner, and the stain is much lighter.I might do it again in a couple of days. But you can see the dirty water tank, that tells all.The key is to repeat the process, soak the area, extract the soiled liquid, then spray clean liquid again. And I found that if I pushed down hard enough while scaping the area, I can see the liquid climbing into the handle. Very satisfying.Much cheaper than getting new rug that's for sure.It is also not bad looking at all, very compact, easy to store. The electric cord is long enough to move the unit around the problem area. The vacuum tube has some length to it for it to reach difficult positions.

Works Great, Great Value for Price. To clean our carpeted stairs we used to have to attach a cumbersome tool to our full-sized upright carpet cleaning tool and had to carry the whole huge tool up the stairs because the cord wouldn't reach all the way. With this handy tool, it is simple to use, the cord reaches all the way up to the top of the stairs....and it gets a lot of dirt out. Highly recommend.

Overall, a sturdy machine. Easy to assemble and use. Meant for spots, but I did large areas in two rooms. When the clean water tank was almost empty, the dirty water tank was only 20% full. Although it seemed to have suction, and the carpets weren't overly wet, and dried in 1-2 hours, not sure where the extra water went. The cleaning solution is mild and pleasant. Not sure it got rid of spots that well (kind of spread the dark areas around), but as these rugs hadn't been washed in years, not surprised, and it most definitely has a fresher smell and held up well under a lot of scrubbing.

SAHM review! I was sooo nervous to buy this cleaner because my husband said it wouldn’t have enough strength to handle our daily household stains. He was sooo wrong! I wish I could’ve gotten a good video. But I’ve cleaned a couch we had that was sooo caked up with dirt. It was just scrubbed but never suctioned so there was caked in dirt. This little devil with time and patience got all the old grime and cleaned this couch to where the water is running clear again. I love that I could take it apart to clean it. The spray function is pretty normal. I spray first and then scrub with the brush and then I suction up the water. It’s light so I just go up and down the stairs with it. I do use more cleaner than what recommended, but haven’t had a problem with the machine. If you’re looking for an everyday spot cleaner, this is it. Or do what I did, and use it to clean and maintain the couches in your home! My ONLY negative is that the hose head doesn’t not stay upright with stored away. So mine is a little sloppy when stored. This machine works well for the price. We use it to clean small spills on our carpet and couches. It works great. Can’t complain.

Amazing- Worked real well. Sturdy. Cleaned perfect. Has a lot of suction. Highly recommend it. Even comes with a cleaner.

This unit does a good job of cleaning but it is on the small size. I find that I have to refill it a number of times for a small job. Also, they recommend only buying their particular name brand of solution for the unit. I do like the part to self clean the hose.
