This product is great. My big desktop PC video went out. I only needed a pc for browsing the web. Buying a big overloaded PC with stuff I don't need is pointless. The pi zero w is a perfect replacement for just browsing the web. At first raspberry was running very slow. Support could do a better job adding to the start up guide the setting and configuration that no one seems to know. I happened to stumble on the pixel doubling option which fixed everything and runs fast enough now. Also I made sure to give the GPU 32 MB to free more ram. After this, it's a great product for what I need. It's very tiny as well. You can't go wrong.

Well first of all, I didn't receive a power switch as shown and also mentioned in the Q&A's, so that's disappointing. Secondly, the NOOBS SD chip hung right after startup, trying to set up the file system, at around 2%. I eventually had to kill it and since I don't care for NOOBS in the first place I just re-zapped the SD chip with the latest Buster, which worked fine. The thing is very slow, but that's perfectly understandable and I'll find some interesting projects to build with it. The good side is that, aside from the missing power switch, the kit has everything you need to get started. I've always had great luck with CanaKit products. Not sure why they included a heat sink though, which is not shown in the photos of the kit, because if you put it in the plastic case there's no air circulation. Update: I contacted CanaKit through Amazon and they very kindly are sending me the power switch at no additional cost. Upgraded my original 3 stars to 4. Still 4 because of the SD NOOBS card problem, but even so I'm very happy now.

This is a great functional kit for design of DIY projects in the Raspberry Pi architecture. It's much easier for me to buy this kit than try to access the individual components. Qualitybis consistent with their product line. Thank you for putting this kit together.

Although this is the Zero W model (vs the Zero 2) I am very pleased with the CPU performance and seamless replacement of an older pi B for my SDR project. No problem getting set up and I'm pleased it runs almost 20 C cooler than the older pi! Great value for smaller projects.

This was my first Raspberry Pi I set up and it was really easy - the kit has everything to put together a working computer (you will need your own keyboard, mouse and display) and the software/OS to get started.

The raspberry pi zero w was pretty much a waste of money. It barely runs an OS without crashing, freezing up, or is so slow that it's impossible to use. It gets very hot after being plugged in for awhile. I tried many different os and different memory cards but I realized it's just the fact that this raspberry pi pretty much just sucks. If you want to run a tiny chopped down os without a GUI and only a command prompt to enter commands in terminal then this might be for you. Otherwise get a micro computer that has better memory than a micro SD card.

Kit comes along with all you need to start using a raspberry pi 0 w micro SD card comes pre-installed with NOOBS which allows you to install rasbian offline and much more if you connect to wifi The only item I would've liked to see is a micro SD card to usb/SD card adapter but it's not necessary and you probably won't need it and if you need it you probably have one already.
