I have always used a drywall sander with sand paper when finishing drywall. I decided to grab these sponges because they were a good price and would arrive quickly. I am glad I did! I have used the sanding sponges before for other projects but didn't know I could wet them for drywall. I tried that on this project. It works ok but I noticed it made the dust really cake up on the sanding sponges which made it more difficult to sand with. I used them dry for most of the project. I like the sanding surface on all sides. Thois allowed me to easily sand corners. I am working on repairing old horsehair plaster in my home. Some of the surface was really rough. These did a great job sanding the wall surface without causing damage. The variety of grit in this pack is also a plus. The sponges are durable. I used one sponge on drywall mud around the walls, corners, and ceiling in an 8 ft x 12 ft room. After washing the sponge off, it still looked new. So they are definitely pretty durable when using for drywall. I also thought the thickness was good and they are not too squishy so they don't smash down in your hand. I will definitely purchase again.

Perfect sanding blocks. Y grades and they’re easy to handle fits great in the palm of your hand. Would recommend this product to anyone small or large job.

These Romeda sanding sponges work great for drywall and wood. When sanding joint compound, the dust falls straight down instead of blowing all over like with a sander. You also get better control since you can feel how much material you’re removing. They clean up easily, and even when they’re covered in dust, the grit numbers are still visible. Just make sure to buy the ones with the colored ends. It makes it much easier to keep track of the different grits. For woodworking, they work great on miters. The flexibility of the sponge allows you to smooth the joint without flattening the edges. I’ve used a lot of sanding sponges, but these are the best so far. And at 8 for under $7 you cant go wrong.
