Well it’s the complete series! It’s great the video quality it blu ray standard. Only problem it’s all Japanese no subtitles.( not that i care I hear Japanese) it’s a 10/10 if you are a fan in the states cause you can’t get the that two stages. With the buy

for initial d fans in the states we didnt get the last two stages im completely happy to have this set even though no english i love initial d anyways. watched my fav episode when i got it takumi vs todo school ek9. the video quality is outstanding. get this while you can.

I understand the resolution being low (480i) for 1st, 2nd and 3rd stage since a master with better quality is hard to come by these days, although they could have done it, (LaserDisc format being remastered) however 5th and Final stage being formated to the same 480i resolution as the prior stages not only makes this a very poor choice, since HD masters do exist on previous Bluray releases for these seasons, but also makes this pointless for a Blu-ray release. Outside of the menus for picking which episode you want to watch, this could all have been on a DVD with the quality done here. I won't lie, having the entire series on just 2 Blu-ray discs is very convenient but copy pasting the DVD version of 5th and Final stage on a Blu-ray plus the cost of the entire set is a very difficult choice to justify. For something called "Initial D Stage Series Complete Blu-ray" I expected the complete and best versions of the series, considering it has been done better in the past. Avoid this release and get the older Blu-ray Japan only releases.

While it is a Blue Ray, all of the episodes are standard definition. Also, the videos are interlaced. I would only get this if you don't like the original (English) DVD versions because of the bad video transfer from video tape. You'll also have to source some English subtitles if you don't speak Japanese.

No English subtitles. Not written on product page anywhere. I should’ve looked at the reviews. Paid $134 what a joke.

Spent $110 on this blu ray box set just to find out it’s only in Japanese audio and there’s no subtitles options beware before buying this set

昔から好きで途中まで揃っていたので 続きから最後まで見たくて購入しました。 バトルの際 ＢＧＭ付きなので 興奮して見てます。もう何度見たことか

安いので手軽にコレクションできます。 画も何もかも全てが少し古いのですが、このボリュームでこの価格なら全く文句なし。 他の旧作アニメのブルーレイBOXも、これを見習ってもっと安く、せめて新しい作品の 半額くらいで出して欲しいものです。全面リマスターなんて大幅な手間を掛けないなら。

対応も早く、画像もキレイでした

早送りしかなく、コマ送りが出来ない点がネックですが、その点以外は全てのシリーズが入っている為、許容範囲内です。
