Can't hold a temp 😕
Had mine for 6 years now. Don't buy it unless you want to be frustrated constantly. The only positive is it looks like 99% is American made. The obvious negative to that is why cant it hold a temperature in a range of 50 degrees. I've had a few good smokes with it but the majority are terrible. For instance I put a 16 pound brisket in for a 13 to 16 hour smoke. Set it for 225 the ttl and hht or what ever they call it are set to what the guy at the company told me to set it at. Basically 10/30 225. It holds for 2 hours I figure I can go to bed. Wake up and it ruined my brisket. It was at 385 degrees at 6 am i went to bed at midnight. This is how the grill works. Even a 225 rib cook for 3 to 6 hours cabt be managed. The brains inside is a little circuit board with one maybe 16 prong chip. Built quality is A1, Amazing but the smoker is totally unreliable. I use a 35 year old off set I weld to keep the holes to a minimum and I can throw a few logs in it then 3 hours later do the same and it will hold 225 until the coals are out. So disappointed with this I had to vent. I doubt I'll get a response but if they do something like send me a new smarter board ill let you know. The only reason I know what's in it was the auger wasn't running properly. Removed the cover to see lose screws. Id expect that over a 6 year period. Fixed it and back to frustration city. Don't buy this thing!!!

I bought this, the hood was slightly damaged. No evidence of damage from the packaging, They will not replace. Also the digital display readout does not work right, the numbers don't light up correctly. Not really customer service orientated.
