I upgraded from a 3 year old rainbird which i hated.I have 38 sprinklers and a ton of plantsWhy I love this updated version.1. Easy to install. 1 screw holds it in place.The instructions are easy to follow. I had to call tech support, they are great. Fixed my issue fast2 They want this indoors, mine is under an awning and after a few heavy high wind Florida storms, it did not affect it3 The App is great. I can set a schedule and I never worry, it runs perfectly.4. I can schedule watering or do watering on the spot choosing all zones or specific zones. My zone 1 has my palm trees which need more water.5. Not so good Iphone App is hit or miss. It takes a while to load up from 25’ away from the rainbird.I was in Virginia and I could connect to Florida, but from a hotel room nope. You have to have a solid signal.They have wired and wireless rain monitors, i will get one soonOverall i give the rainbird unit a 10.The App an 8.But remember 99% of the time it is Set it and Forget it.I wot so buy this again.

Purchased as a replacement for an older Rainbird Controller. Swap out straight forward and easy. WiFi connection simple, as is programming. Much more functional than 20+ YO that it replaced. Plus I can turn it on and off and change schedules from anywhere that I can connect to Internet. Well worth the price paid.

The panel works really well and we did the installation ourselves quite easily. I would recomend downloading the v2 rainbird app otherwise is a pain to set up. Best for the price, and the wifi really reaches no issues even better than my phone.

Nice upgrade to my old Rainbird controller. Plenty of setting options. Controlling my sprinklers while across the country. Easy to set-up / install. Highly recommended.

This controller has been a great addition to our house, not only because of it’s simplicity but because I don’t need a rain sensor anymore due to it being able to monitor weather forecasts in real time.

The install and app setup were incredibly easy—Rain Bird really nailed the user experience. I thought this would be a good product since it has a well known name behind it but was disappointed with the connectivity problems i had with it. Some times it would work but more often than not it would not connect to my Wi-Fi network. I tried multiple times to reboot it and reconnect it but it just did not stay on the network and i even purchased a Wi-Fi signal extender just for this but still not working properly. I ended up returning and purchased a different product from a different manufacturer and have no issues with that one.
