This is my second Camera ( both the same model ) I found them very easy to set up and i'm 74 so if I can do it you can ,ok let's start The camera i of good design not to heavy but still of good quality, The day ( colour ) picture is of great clear quality The night picture is exactly the same only in BW. the battery has a good life it has never gone flat thanks to the solar charging the motion sensor is easy to adjust to your needs, very good field of view, I suppose the question is are they worth the money yes it is and I would certainly buy again

I liked the quick and easy set up of the app, along with its functionality, including alerts. The ease of which it is to control the rotation of the camera from my phone. This with the high quality colour images and the night time mages are equally impressive. This is helped by the cameras built in sensor light. Although I've only installed it recently, the tough outer covering looks like it will endure the elementsfor some time to come.

Very good clear images on the camera, easy to use, not so easy to set up but ok. Only disappointment is that in spite of advertising itself as solar powered the solar panel label warns that additional charging will be required. Fortunately I have a power source close by so ignored the panel and connecter straight to the mains via a charger.

Bought 3 of these as I changed from Eufy as they didn’t support updates. Works well and the solar panel really saves the recharging faffle. One went wrong and customer service replaced it within days. Records, connects, motion detection and durability. I must say I’m impressed not only with the cameras but also the efficiency of the company who honour the warranty with no quibble. Would definitely recommend.

Two days in, working as required. Super easy to install and no problems. Would definately recommend. The images are super clear and operation of camera straightforward. One drawback is the lack of a zoom facility but...... To get all the operations does require a monthly subscription which is the lacking 5th star.

I wanted a security camera that could work independently of mains power and work on a wireless network as the position of the camera was to protect a garage with no mains available at the chosen location. I already have 2x ieGeek wired cameras that work amazingly well in terms of picture quality and performance so I didn’t hesitate in purchasing the ieGeek Outdoor Solar Security Camera. The camera also has a built-in battery that is charged from the supplied solar panel so the camera will work at night. The other advantage of a battery powered camera is that it will still work if there is a power cut offering redundancy should the other wired cameras lose power. Also during a power cut you may lose internet connection however with this camera it will still record to an internal SD card (you have to supply your own SD card). I have had this camera installed for nearly two weeks now and it has performed flawlessly, you can configure the built in AI to detect people, vehicles, pets and parcels, I selected People and Vehicles and it works every time. The camera has a good wide filed of view and you can remotely pan and tilt the camera from the dedicated App. The only minor inconvenience is that the same App will not work with the existing cameras as they have different features. If you need a truly wire free security camera that is good value for money then I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the ieGeek Outdoor Solar camera.

Order arrived with what looked like a decently made camera etc so all good there. I am not 'teccy' by any means but got there eventually in setting up although the order they advised didn't appear to be correct. Fairly easy to set up in position following the guidelines. Now for the negatives....... positioned as near to our router as possible for the area we wanted monitoring and had a 'strong' Wifi connectivity. However, the camera seemed to be detecting all or nothing. Walked past at several different angles all in the camera view and no detection at all! The same results after a few more days so contacted their customer service. Advised to check the Wifi. No more than 50% strength - they advised the camera needs 80% to be fully effective? Advised to change the settings - did that and no change. Their customer service appear to send out automated messages when you contact them. We had our security compromised for several days waiting for responses to their messages so naturally didn't feel that they were responding well at all. Finally got a message back from them saying that they thought the circuit on the camera was faulty. I think it was fairly evident that something wasn't right?!!! They offered to send another but after this negative experience I thought it best to return for a refund as I wasn't confident in the product at all. From my experience I don't recommend this camera, however, as they stated it needs 80% Wifi signal and if you get one that works, then it may well be ok on a smaller property where it can be fitted as near as possible to the router or used with boosters. Never had this issue with another well known brand of security cameras that Amazon sell...............
