You can’t read by it however it does give lots of really warm light perfect for sleeping and seeing your way to the bathroom and back. It’s so fn adorable too. Quick charge lasts a couple nights and you bop it to turn it on and off. Perfect gift for anyone especially yourself.

Perfect amount of light
Purchased to use for camping trips to provide some light for child overnight. Provides an isolated amount of light while not disturbing the rest of the tent. Fun to play with and safe. Surprising well constructed, it even survived a short time with golden retriever mistaking it as a dog toy.

Cute, and suited my needs
This is very cute. My daughter won't go to sleep without it. I do wish it had a slightly dimmer setting, but it doesn't bother her.
