If you're new to soldering, and you have only used these, you should be forced to go back to the old ways. These pastes (in a syringe) are so easy. Some flux, some solder paste, and some heat... Done. Make sure you have good ventilation! This is a must for anyone who repairs electronics

Decent quality Solder paste that works exactly as one would expect.Luer style tip for easy dispensing.A hot air station would be the most ideal way to use solder paste. I found the melting point to be right at 185C, which seems to be in line with other reviews.This solder paste is perfect for surface mounted components.It also a great way to tin a bunch os pads quickly.Overall a decent Solder Paste for a reasonable price when comparing other similar products.

I'm really digging this solder paste, it's easy to work with and very effective. The melting point is right around 185C. This works so much better for me since I'm not the best at soldering and I can get a far better soldering joint when using the paste than the wire.

I've been dabbling in electronics for close to 50 years, so I'm not especially reluctant to use lead-based solder. This is a super-convenient form factor for the stuff, and as others have observed, it's probably a lifetime supply for me. I'm very happy with it.

I've never used solder paste before - and I was a Navy ET in '64, so have been soldering for a good long while, though we didn't have this very convenient stuff. Good, especially for those times when you need an extra hand, as this allows you to apply a suitable dab of solder paste, then you have a free hand to help position things while soldering with the other.The syringes have standard Luer Lok fittings, and this comes with 3 each SS dull needles and plastic applicators. The "solution" of lead, tin and flux makes the syringe surprisingly heavy (Duh!) for its size. But in spite of the obvious amount of heavy metal in the mixture, it flows through the needle with little effort - though pulling back on the syringe plunger does not suck any excess back. Recommended.

These syringes have some heft to them, indicating a high metal content, which is great. The metal tip makes it easy to apply a precise dab of solder paste to connection pads. It held surface mount LEDs and resistors well. Using a heating plate at 183°C, the solder didn’t fully melt, but at 185°C, it melted perfectly and pulled back to the pads, connecting the components securely.I really like this solder paste; it's easy to work with and highly effective. Surface mount soldering might now be easier than through-hole soldering for me. Given the minimal amount needed per pad, this 4-pack is essentially a lifetime supply. Highly recommended!
