I am so disappointed. I received these today for use on my Brother Scan and Cut machine but they are definitely not Balsa Wood. These are Bass Wood sheets, which cannot be used for my machine.The seller needs to correct that. I will send these back.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Worked perfectly! Used these with the cricut to make a lighted sign for my husband. Cut well, even with the intricate design, sanded and took stain easily.

My cricut would not cut this!! Very disappointed that I ruined all the product because it would not cut. This seemed a lot more thicker than stated in description and label. Waste of money

We've used these squares to make baseplates for art & craft projects, as canvases for woodburning, and a lot more! The wood is very consistent in quality, takes ink & paint very well, and is very flat. If need be, you can also flatten them under a pile of books or rocks. The wood is thin enough to accept this correction within a few days. I didn't have to do this for mine, but it's worth knowing about just in case.
