Perfect Starter Violin for My 5th Grader — Great Sound and Incredible Value
We bought this violin for my 5th-grade daughter instead of renting one for a ridiculous monthly fee, and I’m so glad we did. This set is amazing for the price — it came with everything she needed to start lessons right away. The violin has a warm, pleasant tone, and the included case, tuner, and rosin were all great quality for a beginner kit. The fingerboard stickers made it much easier for her to learn proper finger placement. The bridge needed a tiny adjustment out of the box, but that’s completely normal with new violins. Overall: A perfect starter violin for students — affordable, beautiful, and ready to play. It’s saving us a ton on rental fees and has my daughter excited to practice every day.

Decent for price came with all essential equipment for a noob
I recently purchased this Phoenix violin, and after spending a week with it, I have a solid opinion on its performance, value, and overall quality. For 100 bucks, this violin is pretty solid. It comes with essential accessories like a bow, rosin, a tuner, and a case. While I'd say its plays quite well for the price point The fingerboard is smooth, the action is not too high, but the strings are a little thin. The included bow is decent, though upgrading to a better bow could enhance the playing experience further. this violin is easy to handle and lightweight. The setup out of the box may require some minor adjustments, but once properly tuned and rosin applied to the bow, its pretty beginners friendly Although the factory tune came a slight bit off, it wasn't too hard to retune it myself since the tuner came with a battery.

Good value for $80 bucks
I haven't played in 20+ years and, when I saw this for just $82, I figured that it would be a fun little treat. The best thing about it is that it comes with everything that you need (shoulder rest, rosin, tuner, etc.) That in itself makes it a good value. The violin is functional and easy to tune. If you are expecting a Stradivarius, you will be disappointed; but if you manage your expectations, it is a great first instrument for a child or a beginner. The bow is disappointing but, again, for $80, you really can't expect miracles. I wish they had inexpensive options like this when I was younger. It is a great way to introduce children to music.

I shoulda listened to the reviews 😭
I really wish I could have seen something like this before I got this violin. I hope I can help you. I bought this violin as a beginner, and I knew it was cheap ($85), but it definitely wasn't worth it. The tuner-knob-things (i forgot what they were called) wouldn't work, and two of the strings went slack and unplayable. The bow came frayed, but it was a little better once I tightened it up. The body was cheaply made, and I don't think the neck was painted very well. Luckily, the case was nice. Overall, I'm going to have to give this product 1 star. If I were you, I would save my money and maybe pay, like, $50 more for a better violin. Thank you for reading my review.

A great value violin set for beginners
This PHOENIX 4/4 full-size violin really exceeded my expectations! It has a beautiful appearance, clear wood texture, smooth paint, and feels very textured in the hand. The accessories are very complete, including rosin, tuners, shoulder rests, spare strings, fingerboard stickers, etc. You can start practicing directly after getting it, which is very suitable for beginners like me. 🎶 Tone: After tuning, the sound is clear and bright, and the treble part performs well, which is enough for entry-level practice. 🎻 User experience: The shoulder rest fits well, you won’t feel tired when playing the violin, and the tuner is also very accurate, so novices can get started quickly. In general, this is a violin with super cost-effectiveness, suitable for entry-level learning or interest cultivation, and recommended to all friends who want to learn violin! 👍
