It comes with two microphones that easily unscrew to put two AA batteries in and you can talk and sing from quite a distance and it works great! The lights make for a fun atmosphere and you can easily connect Bluetooth to play music or songs from your phone or device! This speaker is also Super light which makes it very convenient to take with you anywhere you want! Setup was quick.Bluetooth paired fast and both wireless mics connected without issues. The sound is clear and loud for a compact speaker, and the echo/treble controls make vocals feel cleaner. Battery life easily handled an evening, and the handle makes it simple to move room to room. Perfect for family nights and birthdays.

Worked for a month or 2...we used it about 3 or 4 times....then it started not holding a charge. We would plug it up overnight and wake to a dead karoake machine. When it did work, it was amazing....but definitely dropped the ball in the Longevity department.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My 7 year old daughter requested this for her birthday. So far it has been good quality and works great. Loud and clear sound.

ProsLoudColorfulBluetooth works wellEasy to carryThe knobs are satisfying to turnThe bad, which I must say for general use isn’t a HUGE deal, but for my purpose these issues were a deal breaker.The mics are cheap plastic and you literally have to put your lips a half inch away from the mic to hear at all. It cuts in and out terribly if you don’t keep your mouth there the whole. Hopefully mine are just defective, because the rest of the speaker is nice and loud and the Bluetooth connectivity is slick.You can’t adjust bass and treble settings like other related speaker models can. Even though it is loud the bass kind of sucks and you can’t even adjust it unless you use an equalizer in your device.There is only one mic/instrument input in comparison to others with 2 inputs.You have to hold a button down for a long period for each light setting. So it would take 10 3 second button presses to get it to the no LED setting. Then when I turn it off and back on it reverts to the default dancing colors setting.

As small as it is it’s pretty loud good enough for a small gathering
