Great lamp! Definitely satisfied with how it throws light not only on the work surface, but provides abundant light for the office as well. Being able to dim, brighten, and change hues helps with overall functionality. Would definitely recommend for the money. The remote control is a nice added feature, but honestly the actual controls are within reach once I sit down at the desk.

If you've never had a top-lit desk before, this is a life changer. It keeps your desk looking state of the art without any added heat. I love the adjustability and the multiple brightness settings. It comes with a simple control, but you can also control it using buttons on the front of the light itself. It's fairly light weight, and large enough to cover even a big desk.

I mounted this light off to the side of my desk, and it sits high enough off the surface of my desk to make space for my setup, but if I try to swing it further out, it just starts sagging. The bottom hinge (at the clamp) isn't tight enough to support its own weight past a certain angle, and you can't even manually tighten it yourself (trust me, I tried taking it apart).aside from that, it's a solid light. it saves its last brightness & temperature settings when it turns on and off, and has a good range of both. the swivel is easy to turn, the hinges have a good resistance (if used within its range), and it looks really nice. the clamp has about a half inch bezel clearance, which is why i had to clamp mine off to the side. but once you got the clamp on tight, it ain't going nowhereso if you're going to use this light as intended, it's perfect. if you're going to use it like me, either pick something else or be willing to accept the fact that the hinges aren't strong enough to be stretched across your desk and cannot be fiddled with

Fantastic appliance! Light to spare. Very versatile. LED's have variable brightness and options. The ability to use both LED 'bright white" and LED " incandescent" provides a broad spectrum of light for "true " colors. The only issue is the table mounting clamp. It could be a bit more substantial.Otherwise, this is a great light system The remote is a fun bonus!

First, at about 3,000 lumens, really provides the kind of light I wanted. A lot of others are at the 1,200-1.500 lumen level. And this just rocked me as I turned it on. Remember, it is the LUMENS, not the wattage, that measures how much light you get.And also, has a lot of flex in adjusting where you need light. Side pieces can be turned off, angled. several joints from bracket up main bar and then down, and at different directions. The one thing, just a bit less flexible than a plain old gooseneck by using sequential joints. This is a minor issue. I am getting better at this quickly. And, because of spread of the unit and illmination, that itself makes up for some of the minimal loss of positioning.Also, and this is the same as a LOT of the lamps shown, the "touch" buttons. I am just used to reaching up and feeling the toggle. ( Hey, I also wish I had toggles and such back in my newer cars so I could just reach down while driving without having to look at a screen. That is just plain dangerous.)So, with these "touch spot" controls on the lamp, if you come into the dark room...you get the idea. But, well, I am getting used to feeling the few inch wide control box coming off th hoist and just pressing the front edge at the side instead of the middle. Depending on which hand I reach out with, left or right, a thumb touch will turn on center bar or side bars...but I will have light.The really big plus is the amount of light. It is AMAZINGLY better than other lamps I have had. Whether powering just the center two feet or all across, really good. And, like others, color adaptive and intensity changeable for "softer" use. So, yes, it IS close to double some of the others in cost. But for maybe $30-$40 or so more as a one time outlay, what is the point of being unhappy with being at your desk and struggling to read?????????? I had not wanted to spend that either, but am really happy I did pick this unit.

It is HUGE, BRIGHT, and basically PERFECT. I was worried that you needed to use the remote control to operate it, but all the controls are also on the lamp. I love that I can change the color of the light. I hate yellow lights and wanted it to match my 6K office lighting. At 41" wide (fully extended) it lights up everything on my 6' desk very well. I also love the way I can angle the side lights for detailed tasks. As far as I'm concerned, this is worth every penny!

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a desk light with high lumens for brightness and this was perfect. This light is 3000 lumens with 36 watts, other light listings show 3000 lumens with less watts and its false because the wattage was much less. I like that it had various degrees of color temperature and brightness settings. The lights are adjustable and easy to install. Its a pretty decent sized light so you may need space if planning to expand the side lights. The touch controls were easy to use. If I had any complaint it would be I wish the diffuser was alittle better since you can see the bulb if looking at it in different angles. Other than that I love it.
