Great range finder with the needed functionality
Been using it for this entire season. Works great. I have had no issues with it holding a charge for multiple rounds. Distance is very accurate, you can see the clearly and it displays the distance instantly. The magnet holds very well and have never had it even slide when stuck to the cart bars. Slope is usually pretty good. Slope function works great on moderate inclines. More extreme situations it’s a bit off my ball flight but overall and for 99% of the time it’s great.

Scope This!
This is a very affordable range finder. This is a very good range finder. I've dropped it, beaten it around in golf cart and it keeps on scoping. It does work as advertised. I've had it a while and have not had to charge the battery. I play about 4 times a week.

Range finder
What a great range finder. Only had it for a week and it's already out performed my expectations. Light weight, slop, pin seeker, and more. I looked at many even 3 time the price before deciding on Tiger. Great buy.

Very Accurate and Fast!
I bought one for my wife and she loved it. I had another brand that cost twice as much, and mine was slower and usually 3-5 yards different. Hers gave the distance immediately, and according to other players with different range finders, hers was the same as theirs. I tossed mine and bought another Redtiger. I understand there are different models, some a lot cheaper, so I'm only endorsing this one, which I believe was around $170. Got mine and tried it on the golf course along with hers and they were identical. This one is so much easier and faster to lock onto the target than my old one. I had my eyes on one that cost around $600 until I saw a guy who had one and got the same yardage distance as my wife. I don't need all the fancy GPS or extras, just accurate and fast yardages, that's it. To me, this was a no-brainer.

not my first rangefinder with slope option
Been golfing for a long time and had numerous rangefinders over the year. Long ago they were so expensive and yet way less practical than this one. Good price, good operation, clear picture, accurate, small enough to be easily carried yet bulky enough not to get lost. Seems well built. Company wants to help you enjoy it if you wish.

Mediocre optics and fragile product
Very overrated. Poor optics which somehow became dislodged and crooked. Value product with value components. It lasted 5 rounds of golf before I had to return. Optics are no where near as clear as they should be.

Tiger range finder
About the most inexpensive golf laser ranger finder available. It works pretty well. I have a few courses that have been modified or rerouted that cause my satellite range finders to not work on dome holes. This unit is my fallback. Plus sometimes I need a better range to and over carries etc. This unit has Bern helpful. The magnet came unglued after a little use so I just replied it. The magnet holds the unit handy on the frame of the golf cart. This unit takes a little practice to get lovjed on the flag or what ever target you are shooting. This is true of most laser range finders. Gor the price This is an acceptable unit.

Accurate and easy.
Surprised how easy it was to use and the accuracy is same as those three times the price.

They say you can judge a book by its cover so my first impressions of this Redtiger rangefinder, I was impressed by its high quality, professional packaging and presentation. Inside the box you will find a very nice hard shell carry case that includes a belt loop on the back as well as a closure with a bungee cord loop to keep the case closed while you have it on your belt or in the golf cart without having to zipper the case shut. Also included is a USB charging cable, a carabiner, a cleaning cloth, a lanyard and a magnetic belt clip which lets you quickly secure the rangefinder to the clip or attach the unit directly to the metal cart roof support. I did find however, that while the magnetic clip held the unit well, the clip itself did not pinch tight together on you belt so if you pulled the device upward, the metal clip would come along. Not a problem since the rangefinder can be pulled off forward or in a downward motion but it would be nice if the clip pinched the belt tighter so it doesn't bump off. When it comes to the device itself, it is very impressive. Previously, I had purchased another brand and I immediately returned it because it felt very light and flimsy with a cheap nylon case and did not fit the hand well nor did it have any grip covering. The Redtiger has a quality heavier feel with excellent rubber grip pads and fits the had perfectly. It has two top buttons, one to choose a function and the other one the on button that you also press to get your distance reading. On the side, is a third slide switch which to turn the slope compensation measurement on/of for tournament play which is not allowed in most cases. The unit conveniently auto shuts off after not used for about 10 seconds. Performance wise, the rangefinder does it all and is very easy to use. Clicks of the menu button lets you switch from distance to slope adjusted distance, to pin lock with vibration or speed of things like passing cars etc. All readings can be selected in either metric or imperial units. I tested the unit from several from several known distances and it was spot on. Getting the correct distance on par 3's is a huge benefit because the hole sign with printed distance is often far from the tee blocks and the flag could be anywhere from the front to back on the green. Both those factors together could give you 20 or more yards of uncertainty. The rangefinder provides for quick distance measurements from anywhere on the fairway without having to hunt for yardage markers on sprinkler heads or pacing off yardages from fairway markers. This saves considerable time after you drive up to your ball and there are no distance references and makes you much more confident in club selection. Another benefit is to be able to determine distances to bunkers or water hazards to decide if you want to lay up or try to carry them. The optics with the 7 time zoom are very clear and in lower light conditions, the display changes to red lettering for easy visibility. The flag pin lock with vibration locks onto the flag almost immediately. I golf with a friend you has another brand costing double this one and he actually prefers the Redtiger unit. I was actually able to shoot par 4 distances although you have to have a very steady hand. I would highly recommend this rangefinder which is rechargable and doesn't require battery replacements.

This is the first rangefinder that I’ve owned and used and, for a moderately priced unit, I’ve found it to be very helpful on the golf course. I use it in conjunction with my Garmin Approach golf watch and find the distance to the pin more accurate on the rangefinder. It also has slope detection which is very useful. Great item to have in the golf course

This range finder worked fine for one month, now I try to recharge the battery, it will not charge! I left it plugged for 12 hours, the light was green bus as I try for a reading, I get nothing and the light turns red. Update: as it was over one month since I received it Amazon will not accept a return. I called Red Tiger Co, explained my issue, they replied that they sent me another one. I should receive it this weekend. This is great customer service!

I tried to clip the range finder to my golf bag with the supplied belt clip, but the clip broke in half, so apparently it is not meant to open that wide. I have reached out, but no response yet.

Review for: "REDTIGER Range Finder Golf, 1200 Yards Golf Rangefinder with Slope, Light-Adaptive Display, 7X Magnification, Flag Lock Vibration, Rechargeable Laser Range Finder with Magnet" The REDTIGER Rangefinder came in a zippered case inside a box with the user manual, carabiner, wrist strap, USB-C to USB-A charging cord, lens cleaning cloth, magnetic belt clip, and a business card with support information. The user manual, belt clip and USB cord do not fit in the case with the range finder. It would be nicer to have a case that fit everything. There are no lens covers on the range finder either, which surprised me, especially at the price this is at. The range finder is about 4 3/8" x 2 13/16" x 1 5/8" (11.2 cm x 7.1 cm x 4.2 cm) and weighs about 165 g. I weighed it to be 179g with the wrist strap on. Make sure you look through the single lens and not the double lens where the laser comes out. Do not aim the device directly at the sun, and keep out of reach of children. Note: there were some spelling errors in the manual (likely translation issues). On the back of the rangefinder is the charging port and the eyepiece. Turn the dial around the eyepiece to adjust the screen's focus for your eyes. There is a red light beside the USB port when charging and it is green when fully charged. There is a magnet on the right side of the rangefinder and a slope switch button on the left side. When the slope switch is on, there will be a red light around it. When it is off, it it will have no light. The slope switch can be used for amateur use and training, but not for professional tournaments. The slope switch status will be in memory for when the machine is turned on again. There is a battery power indicator at the top of the screen that shows up to three dots for 25-50%, 50-75%, 75-100% power. If it has less than 25% power, there is no dot showing in the battery box and will need to be charged. There are two buttons on the top of the rangefinder: the power / measurement button, and "M" mode / unit button. Short-press the power management button to power on the device. It automatically powers off after 15 seconds of inactivity (which I find annoying). The screen has "adaptive ambient display" which changes the display colour and brightness of the screen according to the light conditions. This is really helpful. The top "M" button will give 3 mode settings: 1) Golf ballistic mode: the screen will show a flag symbol and give only the measured distance with the slope off. With the slope on, it gives the measured distance, ballistic distance and the angle. 2) Speed measuring mode: shows the speed reading from 20km/h-300 km/h. Press the power/measurement button, align the crosshairs with the object to be measured, and move slightly with the object to measure the speed. 3) Ranging mode: no flag on the screen. With the slope off, the ranging mode will give the measured distance only. With the slope on, it will give the measured distance, height, horizontal distance, and angle. The two distances are displayed alternately during use. Long-press the "M" button to switch the distance unit from yards to meters, or meters to yards. The waterproof rating of IP54 means it is protected against rain, spraying & splashing water, but not water jets or immersion in water. This rangefinder seems similar to the last one I tested. I like the slope button being red for "on" and off for "off" because the other one I used turned green for "off" which was confusing. This way if there is no light around the slope button, you are good for tournaments, and the obvious red light will show it is only for practice. The rangefinder is easy to use once you understand it. I would prefer to be able to get the rangefinder in the case with the belt clip & charging cord so they don't get lost, so it would be nicer to have a slightly bigger case, or one with a pocket for those items. It would be even better if it could fit the user manual, or if the manual was smaller in order to fit inside. It would be nice to have lens covers on the rangefinder as well, especially at this price (currently around $130 with the coupon). I wish to improve my game with this rangefinder, so I hope it is fairly accurate.
